Title: inter-league play should be allowed in the rules
Post by: solido on June 13, 2011, 07:49 PM
I thought of something that could improve the league's cohesion and unity.

Rules change:
For each choice, either opponent can choose what league, and game.

Thus, you could have opponent 1 choosing RR, TRL and the other opponent choosing Battle Race, Free league. 1 game played of each pick. It's not in the rules, but it should be allowed.

So if ever I really want to play battle race I can also play a classic league scheme with someone who wants to play a scheme from a different league. You're not limited to playing in only one league, so you're not limited in your options of challenges to the other player.

It'll be good for the community

 and help grow the community!

anyone who doesn't want to change the way they play. they don't have to.

it won't be jammed down anyone's throats. so if both people decide all the want to play is TEL that's ok.

solido, I hardly see clans rushing to spend 2-3-4 possibly even longer, playing BR for a measly 40 points lol.

Most people focus on just 1 league. If their opponets are allowed to pick 1 other-league scheme they'd be wasting half their time  ???

I can also see this ending up in people giving away free wins in leagues they don't play for.

solido as others said, I think it will result people giving away many free wins because they can't be bothered on a scheme that they have no experience of or find no fun in them :)

I think that this should be voluntary, i did it many times, but should agree before playing, no?

not true, even if both clans/players agree on certain terms it is not allowed unless stated in the rules...

me and dibz both agreed to play a certain scheme, when somone else complained about it.. we were both warned, and games deleted...

follow the rules boys and girls.

Rules say that this is not allowed?

They played a scheme that wasn't in the list and reported it as roper.

yea, it was a w2roper xD

what if some people play elite with crates and report it as tus elite, or elite with molebombs like in the german giga, is that allowed?

If we are already here.. Couldn't we have an online system on TUS, that allows ppl to export any stats they'd like to see, MI? Basically I mean that not just the two/four main leagues could have their overall/season stats, but we could choose some random schemes (="fictitious leagues"?) and get the same.

Bad idea?

Are you looking for specific scheme standings?

Wait, I thought MI passed a rule that w2Roper is official? You can choose to play w2Roper and report as Roper?

husk, dont even freaking think about it!!! even if both parties involved agree to the terms, and neither complain in the end...  if somone sees the replay and wants to cry and wine, MI will void, and warn you... i dont suggest it DUDE!

NVM, I meant something I can't explain accurate, nor would be even interested in it too much, heh..
