Since this league has a thing called "reputation" smite-applaud, I would want that in our profile we have a place where u could check whos smiting or whos applauding u.. this thing being annon its lame its like throwing a rock and hidding or make a song without fans to applaud u we should have the right to know whos smiting or whos applaudding atleast on our profiles. thx.

Seriously who gives a damn about the ppl judging you by your karma on this site? If you care about the opinion of ppl that dont even know you personally then your worth to be smited ;). My suggestion is forget about it, the honest ppl wont like/unlike you more/less because your reputation is bad.
Look at MonkeyIsland, he could be the complete asshole but his reputation would be enourmous ;););).

You can't compare my rep with other people here. Other people's reputation is based on their post. But mine is based on the updates I do on the site. Plus I think many people think if they smite me, I will find out who did smite me. ;)

I think this feature is just for fun, so I prefer having it anonymous, that you can just smite or applaud someone if you feel like it without giving reasons or smth like this...

It's not like a care that much I mean it's a league feature and the thing is annon. even on worms u can see an annon. message checking the game replay, so why not have the right to see whos smiting or whos aplaudding, and yeah thedogg I want to see who are the ones pressing my smite button, maybe ppl that I even like and they just abuse of the annon. of this.

I completely agree.
As PR said people need to write VALID reason as to why they are smiting or applauding someone.
Assuming that people only smite or applaud regarding someones post on the forum, the reasons for the smite or applaud can be listen in a pop out box selected with an icon on the post.
The karma system should be made public so that all the idiots who -1 someone everyday because they had an argument with them are shown for who the are.
but no1 should care, most people can guess whos smiting someone anyway

Hey guyz, Karma is a good system like it is right now, didnt you notice reputation was often true in forums ? I mean some people "not really liked" or considered as "boring" got a bad reputation, and people who are "friend to everyone" or who "helps a lot the community" got a good reputation..
Well, for Dev it's weird, cuz i dont think he's "hated" by much people, only by few guyz I guess, so there must be an option that show if some1 smited you more than 10 times in the same month lol :P

i helped devil to get that reputation, some ugly posts about me made me feel for that, anyway, im helping to bring that back xD, working hard all day, u see few days its -12 xD, and it was like -.28 XD

i think its probably best an anon thing, i see more flame wars happening if it isnt... maybe a limit to how many times u can smite one person would help? maybe 10 or something

It's the same, still anon ... sometimes ppl press teh button just for entertaiment not for any reason just to see the reputation of teh guy going down so if i t wasnt anon this would change so they have to give a reason of why tehy are flaming or at least the smitted/applauded dude will know whos doing it.

What about setting a limit of how many times you can applaud/smite during one season (or one month)? Then you coudn`t abuse the system like it is possible right now, and you would have to think twice if the post really deserved an applaud or a smite :D

Personally I think giving reason why appluad/smite will make people don't use this system anymore. They applaud/smite by one click meaning because that is easy. Making it harder will make em forget about the whole thing. when someone smites he knows that no one can find out it is him otherwise he would make wars.
In my experience, some people just love to smite no matter what you post. They only see smite link and enjoy clicking it.
The current limit for each player is 12 hours and that is not short. Maybe 24 hours?

If the ppl who used to smitte applaud doesnt do it nemore coz the smitted- appluded guy will know than the one whos doing it its just a coward and cowards hide behind an annon feature like this one, i just want it to be not annon because everyone diserves to know everything, secrets on a community are bad and that feature is secret so it's bad imo.

If you limit the amount of smites/applauds for a season it wont fix anything.
People who smite someone everyday do so because they dont like the player, not because they agreed or disagreed with a post they wrote. This way people will just max out their smites on someone, it doesnt change the fact that their smites are biased and irrelevant.
If you want to keep it anonymous, then an anonymous note can be written as to why you are smiting someone and these notes be made viewable.
I personally think a post marking system would be better than a karma system, but it doesnt really matter that much.

By the way MonkeyIsland, you should make a RESET button (as in league v1.9) to reset our karmas XDDDD

Keeping it annon. sucks! ppl should know who's pressing their smite/applaud button why to keep it in silence? like nail said ppl just press it coz they don't like the player they press it without reason and coz they know that the player won't know that they are smitting him, make it public or just public to the smitted/applauded dude and the feature will be fair imo.
