Personally I don't mind as I'm not exactly the most patriotic of people in England, but the Union Jack is not the flag that most people feel represents them if they are Scottish / Irish / Welsh etc.

For me it's confusing anyway.. I am of Irish Heritage, I live in England but right on the Welsh border and was raised in Germany...

Monkey.. can you make me that special hybrid flag also please? xD

I hate the Union Jack, I like all the people within (except pissed off muslims).

I wish we could seriously get rid of the Union Jack forever, because, every single game or internet forum I go to everyone automatically assumes I am from England and are therefor, English, now, this wouldn't be a problem IF PEOPLE HAD THE f@#!ING BRAINS TO ASK WHAT PART OF UK YOU ARE FROM !!! But unfortunately, retards ftw...

well komo i think u cant change cos when u register, u choose the country u r from and we are not allowed to born again xDDD

unless someone suffer an accident pass 1 year in hospital and survive in other country then u can ask MI and say I BORN AGAIN MAN!!! hauhaua

For example if someone is exiled from his own country because of treason or something, and he/she finds new home somewhere else, why would he/she like to win/loose in the name of the old country?

Monkey, I meant just for those where it is actually relevant, like UK for example, Scotland/Wales/England/Northern Ireland.

This wouldn't ruin country stats, it would fix them ;)

The possibility to change it yourself will cause people jumping from country to country for fun and there will be no reason to keep stats for countries.
