Hi! I want to know what do you think about telecow?. First, what is telecow? it's when you are playing hysteria, you are winning, and when you have 2 worms and your opponent have 1 worm, he teleports next to one of your worms and kill it.
Well, some people can say that telecow is allowed because it's an strategy. Yes, it's an strategy, a very very chicken strategy, it's the strategy of the coward, the person who wins killing his opponents by the back and not face to face xD.
It's very bad that telecow is allowed in TuS league; it shouldn't :(. because it makes hysteria a shit scheme. You are winning very well and your opponent teleports up your worm, fall and you die. And gg for you. For me telecow it's very very very very very very NOOB, but not all people think that :(.
what do you think about telecow???
should be added like a rule in TuS and people who win with telecow must do rh?? :O

if that wouldnt be allowed hyst would suck much more! u should protect ur worms and dont let ur opponent to do that. only fun thing at hyst is teleing and moving around the mapxd

Keep your worms close so they can hit each other before opponent gets worm advantage.

Telecow is non-existent. It's just using the worm advantage against the opponent. End of story.

true,lol : "Telecow" ? 1st of all it can't be cow because hysteria does not has rules ^^
and is the basic strategy of the game,all the game is about the best way to use turn advantage/avoid using it on u ^^ :P
btw... yes is not that nice to use it in funners but in leauge games obviously that everybody (should use) uses it ;)

It's the same, when you have worm advantage in wxw. You have 2 worms, and your opponent 3. Your turn, you end your turn by an attack, and hide on the same place, where your opponent did with his last worm.
It's totally the same, so what is it then in wxw? Hidecow?

Pure strategy. If your opponent is enjoying teleporting on your worms, it is your weakness that your worms placements are letting him do so.

Dont let ur oppenent "telecow", its ur fault, when ur killing worms pretty early in the game.
And when u got worms-disadvantage, just put ur worms at same area or kill them with by urself.
No rules means no rules - best way to fix some lategame-weakness would be set teleports at 9. But thats a different story. ;)

omg, funny topic, guys who avoid telecows are just NOOBS, yeah just noobs, I will say you why you are noobs. You must have been good player and take care about 'telecows', killing healther worms and if you get more worms, just make for them good, inteligent hides. So stop crying about them unskilled kids, and make your tactic better next time.
and we can't call it as 'teleCOW' because hysteria does not have any rules, what an idiot called it like that??

If you want to dispose of turn order abuse, or at least make it more difficult, I suggest using random worm order :)
I've lost a couple of cup games even though my shots were better than his. He simply used better strategy than me and I should've tried harder to make him unable to abuse turn order, it's part of the game!

In my opinion use the teleport is one tactic over who has two worms have to set a Armadinho for this, for some the telecow is one thing more for others a noob weapon. it depends on each one ;)

Some months ago (maybe 2 years?) I saw a topic on a UIS forum, about a Hysteria tourney, where one of the rules (or was the only one?) was "No telecow". Warlord, you were UIS right? maybe you could tell more about it. That was't the first "official" place where I noticed that funny concept.

X; don't kill opponent's worms before they are all low hp (1 shot kills)
and when u hav more worms than the opponent, keep them close enough each other so u can attack any of ur own worms if opponent teles next to ur worm

Use random worm order if you don't like and can't handle worm turn order abuse, but don't use this draconic rule :)

seriously hyst is a schem where u cant place ur worms
it happens that at 1st run u get plopped without playing
fortunately u can tele on others worm otherwise it would be 100% random game, and for that i prefer to go to a casino!

my opinion about that issue..
when u play leagues, play with "telecow/jetcow", its totally fine since HYST=NO RULES, pure tactic.
once I play with friends for fun, or even with random AG ppl, I go for 'skilled' shots with some nice style, I never "telecow/jetcow" unless it used on me before, and even if some1 doin' it, I never get pissed...

The name "telecow" sucks as much as does "the ultimate site" (sorry, don't mean to be offensive here, it's just not very worms-specific :P ). But yes, it's just about creating a good situation for the 1vs1 game which is very likely going to happen in the late game.. Having a big worm there is very advantageous. :)

You can blame darkmaul as much as you want. ;) "The Ultimate Site" was his idea, coming from "The Ultimate Tourney". I had nothing to do with TUS name.

I like the name telecow :) although it's allowed lol so technically it's not a cow...
And right now this IS the ultimate site of worms armageddon lol, it has the most activity for starters :)
