So im from Australia (not sure what timezone I am) and all that seems to get hosted when i play at normal hours eg. 4pm - 10pm are shoppers and the occasional wxw and normal's. Does anyone still play warmers or roper? I host them all the time (mainly warmers) and its so hard to get players :( Is this the same on all timezones, or just my crappy one??

I think that the situation is general, I usually play warmer, every day, but for the 90% of times with the same people that you know..since 3 years hahah
We need to do something for that.
People could also play the new challenge of warm togheter...

Public Ropers and Warmers are rare nowadays, that's true.. Personally I used to play Warmers to get ready for playing league games. Now I don't think I need to warm up anymore, so there goes my warming activity. :P

I would argue warmer is the only pure scheme.

I thought the same, but see, last time (I mean over 2 years now...) I used to play only RR, sometimes even offline, for long hours, and... I got cool rope race skill, you agree, but.. I never played any roper (only at league), any warmer, and while I got very fast tap in RR, sometimes even incredible fast but.. only in RR, only for short tap! My timing in roper sucks, I miss easy taps, so I play much slower, just no timing for longer tap, and I feel uncomfortable in roper :)

I agree with this. Warmer to me is the most fun relaxed scheme to play. Im pretty sure I am in the opposite timezone to all of you so its hard to catch you's for a game :(
And Komito I have played a warmer with you before I think. Was awhile ago though.

That was when I was more inactive and didn't have much of an interest to play. I would get all keen to play then be over it in like you say, 5 turns. Been alot more active last few weeks. Even played a hour warmer with Mablak and ThaShady1 a few weeks ago :P. Just hard with the little one sometimes I have to leave straight away because she needs me :)

everybody has his opinion about 1/2 spaces/fingers 'n stuff ^^
Back to the topic,I'm not a big fan of warmers but would be nice if @ this summer wo's,x-worms would host more than 1 roping style contest (like 1 per week xDD )
maybe that would approach ppl to warmers ;D

in my experience, girls love when you use 2 fingers... they are not to impressed with your skills while only using one...
and the super dirty girls want you to tap with your whole fist... go figure
