Zalo the moler:
It seems like there has been an ongoing problem in OB clan with understanding how Races 2vs2 / 3vs3 work.

If you are very fast, and you reach the finish line first, you should be rewarded for it. It means that you press "Surrender" so that your partner is the only one travelling from now on, getting more turns to move thanks to you.

There is absolutely zero sense in you being very fast, if somebody tells you that you should skip the next 20 turns, until your partner arrives. That will limit the whole competition to "whatever player will be the slowest from the entire match, his clan will lose, regardless of good performance of his teammate".

There is a reason why in TTRR or Rope race 2vs2 or Jetpack race 2vs2 you count the best times of two players and you add them together. So that the mediana of your 2 performances would decide about the victory.

It's 2022 and this should not need to still be explained.

Lupastic:
Thank you Zalo, I think at this point we will just stop playing race schemes in clanners xd There are always problems and complications around them, people looking for excuses to escape a loss, and so on.. Until the finishing rule doesn't get explained crystal-clear how it works in 2v2 and 3v3 in certain schemes, it's just better to avoid races in clanners :D

Fresh players have a right of not knowing that and trying to cheese their win. Adnan, however, should have not acted so confused.

I recently started to participate in clanners, and I don't know all the things (yes, I didn't read the rules of the league, I know them in general terms).

It is still not clear to me why to count the time in big rr if, for example, I started last and arrived one of the first to the finish line. But your logic about the fact that the first finisher gives a significant advantage to his teammate to finish the race faster, it makes sense, quite an interesting opinion  :)

Zalo the moler:
that's because OB clan is not used to TFL schemes. Whenever I would play 2vs2 Golf in the old days, it was always crystal clear that if I complete all the "holes" in 28 turns, my teammate in 48 turns, and our opponents in 46 turns x2. Then we don't deserve to lose because of me skipping 20 turns. Why would I be in hurry to complete the stage at all if there is zero benefit from it.
