*Could someone actually translate this into titahemps native language please so he can understand it better?*

Your maps shouldn't even be in the "Darts" category.

Edit:

tita, I apologize, I like the graphics of your maps a lot, but their playability is horrible and unprofessional, I really wish you would take advice from us...

Darts is a scheme that relies pretty much solely on the design of the map, the maps design decides whether a game is fair, competitive and skillful, or unfair, full of lucky throws and flaws.

Myself, Hurz & Alien spent the better half of an hour in a private game trying to explain to you what is wrong with your maps and what you can do to make them much better and actually worth playing properly.

We offer you our help, to help you improve your maps, we would even take the time to make final edits on your maps while keeping your design, but your response was basically "I don't care about Darts, I make maps for fun", which you are entitled to...

We've worked VERY HARD for the past 2-3 years to make Darts the great scheme it is today, it really sucks to see such carelessness in map design...

I guess the next step here is to try and convince MonkeyIsland to make up 2 categories of maps in the database for Darts, kinda like how Ropers & Warmers differ in map design.

1 section which will have all the maps suitable for competitive/League Darts. For players who play seriously, are skilled in this scheme and don't like luck.

1 section which will have all the maps suitable for funners. For players who don't play seriously, don't care if they win or lose and happy to play with maps full of rolls/random landings.

Fighting words? Why?

There are genuine problems with this map that makes it not suitable for playing competitively:

The target board has been poorly designed, I played ONE game on this map, 4 worms on left side, 4 worms on right side, I hit 3x100 and 1x90 on left side and 1 miss then 1x100 on right side then gave up, if I can do that on my 1st try, after literally just waking up completely still zombied, it's far too easy.

The space between the score themselves are too short, with the "spikes" being too wide, which will cause worms to roll over targets, and landing on a spike this wide makes it harder to judge which score to give.

This area here:

^^ The spikes between targets should be the same height, the worm can easily hit the top of the spike on 80 and bounce back to 85/90/100 and maybe even miss, it's happened in map tests in the past.

All we ask tita, is to check with us before publishing his maps, personally I love his ideas, they have GREAT potential to be amazing maps, but his target boards/ point systems are the worst you can get...

This is the difference between Darts being luck, and being skill.

Edit:

Oh and, there are already different categories for shoppa maps & rope race maps... Why shouldn't Darts be allowed to have different categories, especially if it sorts out the luck from the skill.

Also, I just need to say more sorry lol...

pizza, I like tita, he's a funny guy who is relaxed a lot, always laughing n stuff, I like that, his map designs are really cool, he has a unique style which is great!

It's just, Darts is kinda like our kid that we raised lol, it pretty much only exists because of the work and effort dS have put into it, making maps, testing maps, hosting countless games online and having patience for noobs who are willing to be honest and learn, hosting cups, tournaments, challenges, hosting for olympics & other events, it is literally only dS members who have forged this scheme to be as fair, fun and challenging as possible for anyone who plays it, MonkeyIsland has pretty much put us in charge of the scheme that TFL uses, and I guess that's because we show passion commitment & professionalism towards the scheme, of course if we want to change anything it has to be tried and tested carefully and confirmed with MonkeyIsland 1st.

Now over the course of the past few years, we've seen enough random people get frustrated and complain about Darts maps that are too lucky or badly designed that we've honed our skills @ making the best possible maps with no luck factor.

We do realize there are some people out there who generally don't care about Darts at all, let alone whether it's luck or skill, but the majority of people who do enjoy Darts would prefer it to be a skill based scheme and not a luck based scheme, we have learned this from experience.

dS has tried and tested the general rules for Darts, and there is an official TFL Darts map pack here, players are allowed to refuse any map that isn't in this map pack, so those who take the scheme seriously can refuse to play on maps like this one, all the maps in this pack have been tried and tested, there are a few maps which have a few rolls however these can be avoided by throwing your worm the right way and closing the drill at the right time, thanks to the elevation of the START/Target.

But it's came to our attention recently, there are a number of players hosting Darts on HostingBuddy, which uses maps randomly selected from WMDB, which titas maps have been uploaded, and we simply don't want them to think Darts is just "another luck based scheme", we want everyone to see it's proven potential that it's one of the most physically skill based schemes that requires a lot of practise to stay at the highest level.

So yeah, I think Darts would benefit with 2 sections for maps.
