Map #15677, Triple Deviation by XanKriegor

<< < (4/4)

Sensei:
I see this map as a chance for mediocre darters to beat those on the top. Cause too much buttons could force many fails, and not just on a rookie side.

For example, you mentioned "rattle it".
I personally like that map. Last time scored all 8 worms and it was pretty much enough for victory, over some of the toughest players in darts atm.

Maps like these are not hard, pro's don't like them just because it shows us they can fail too sometimes  ::)
Would like to see it in map picker.

Btw - Xan? Triple deviation? You on drugs m8?  :D

Sensei, a medicore "darter" can pwn a pro "darter" the problem is, the medicore "darter" probably is a better roper!

Imo, triple is too much ropey. I could barely score at double, which shows to you how sucky I am with rope. But personally I wouldnt mind this map in the mappicker because after all, it isnt bad to have a slight variation in the rope/darts balance. But that would also imply that there should be more ropey maps in the near future!

If I am counted as a pro here, probably am not. But I think if you look at Hurz for example he doesnt mind failing at all. Triad, especially in his oldest form didnt too. I remember when I was very noobish in darts and he lost like 70 pts due to failing he stayed very calm and congratulated me! I dont think there really are any "pro" darters who mind failing :)

Maybe implent an option "ropey darts maps enabled" in the mappicker? So we still can have the freedom to pick, but also can ignore these maps if we want to?

XanKriegor:
Well, darts is a sport. Sports = a pile of stupid obstacles you have to go over to achieve victory. Just remember ice hockey. Ice, skates, sticks, rough playing and fights and this little but heavy uranium slug rubber thing you need to use to pierce a goalkeeper through who dressed like an Abrams tank. Wtf? For what? Same here - a few obstacles for you to go over for no reason.

And don't blame this one after seeing Komos Octo Deviation  :P

Thanks for posting here  :)
