Have you tried to use other desktop enviroments or even any Window Managers?

« on: August 14, 2015, 09:28 PM »Its fine on Arch but I suppose that's all null and void regarding you use completely different Wine / library versions.I followed the guide on worms2d about installing WA on linux almost to perfection - except I didn't read much about the bugs logs... and yes I'm using jessie with gnome.
Debian appears to have some odd issues when it comes to WA it seems... are you using Jessie? My brother cannot even run the game through his Debian installation and he has tried a vast array of solutions to try and fix it.

« on: August 13, 2015, 09:05 PM »Maybe because it was written for windows (98?)?It doesn't happen on windows 7 or 8 I'm sure it can work on wine. I have wine set for windows 7 for WA.

when I play worms it sounds as if there is sand or something like that being leaking from a sack, specially when there some fine pitch sounds made by for example the dynamite as it progresses. Hopefully someone knows.

to those who may have similar problem I found a workaround for it.
I press the windows key on the keyboard and with some clicking around I get to the windows managment where I can reselect the worms window and the keyboard works in fullscreen now.
I can then select another window while other worms are playing like I'm doing now.

Tech Support / Keyboard is not detected when running in fullscreen on Debian 8.1 with Gnome

When I play the actual game the game goes in full screen not in window mode, my keyboard only while in game like in a map; the game doesn't detect the keyboard, I can't move any worm. does anybody knows why and how to solve it?
THERE is no mention about keyboard not being detected on WA on linux article by Worms2d site

Tech Support / How can I run WA in fullscreen in Debian 8.1 using wine 1.6.2 and Gnome

I tried everything, even to the point where it broke my wine and I had to purge and reinstall it, I followed this guide:

but the options it lists for full screen are for ubuntu... I still can't play it in full screen, I tried F11 and ALT+F10 none of them work.
UPDATE***
When I play the actual game the game goes in full screen I was referring to the main menu but I thought the resolution was going to remain anyway that's ok now I guess, My PROBLEM now is with my keyboard, while in game the game doesn't detect it, I can't move any worm only when in fullscreen when on a window i can move the,, does anybody knows why and how to solve it?
