Okay I noticed a slight error, don't know how i let this slip: O Jones shouldn't have a space, it should be OJones.

Cool, that's great! I can say from my own use of it that I haven't had any issues with the most recent version of it at all.

Excellent, thank you very much! Also, random aside but I remembered this when looking through files just now. This guy seemingly made a wormkit module from expanding the music in game when I had asked about one previously. (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/worms-armageddon/wormkit-module-for-ingame-music-32542). Don't know if this would be worth adding to the list on the wiki or not but I figured I should mention it anyway?

WWP:R uses the localization system I wrote for W:A, so perhaps you could check its localization files.

Okay so, unfortunately WWP:Remastered doesn't use the WWP names, but rather it uses the WA team names. Now, I just had the idea like right now to use Resource Hacker to view the .exe data from WWP and in there I actually found the names! So, if anyone wants the list, here you go! Similarly to the deathmatch page (https://worms2d.info/Deathmatch), worm names in italics aren't ever used in the game. Also if anyone wants to verify this with Resource Hacker, it was under String Table, from *94:1033 to *97:1033 inclusive, using the original wwp.exe from a disc install, version 1.01.

Other worms games / Worms World Party deathmatch team names?

More of a curiosity thing here but I'm wondering if there's any way to find out what the full list of the Worms World Party deathmatch team names were? You never see all of them in-game and I've always been a bit curious about it. The full list of WA deathmatch teams is on the Worms 2d page for deathmatch, and it says that those are known only because of the localization files, so does anyone know if there's an equivalent for WWP?

Other worms games / Re: Extracting terrain files from Worms DC/United?

I'd thought to maybe contact him somehow, I wasn't sure exactly how. The thing is, there's a utility called WormPrefs that came with WormsDC that converts the appropriate formats(easily opened in an image editor) into the file type used for terrains which is the seemingly proprietary .DIY format, which can't be opened in editors. Of course, it doesn't do the reverse of this conversion, which is what I'm looking for right now of course. I'd thought maybe to just do it by screenshotting too but that seems like it'd be immensely frustrating.

Also I have no idea where that candy terrain is from but it is something I've wondered myself!

Other worms games / Extracting terrain files from Worms DC/United?

So I've recently had the idea to try and extract the terrain files from Worms DC and United for use in potential terrains in Worms Armageddon (using wkTerrain) and I'm wondering if it's even possible, or if there's any tool to even convert/open these.

Wormkit Modules / Re: Wormkit module for ingame music?

This is working brilliantly, thank you so much! There has been one small stutter with the most recent version, that's it though. It's only a brief stop in video/gameplay rather than the music though. The game wouldn't play .wavs I had rendered at 2822 kbps but I imagine that's likely just an aspect of the games music player. Just to try it out, I played against myself online to see how it would handle one computer without the module and it seemed to deal with it fine, except for one error message here:

I realized after that I'd moved the sudden death music files into the sudden death folder instead of copying them, so it's possible that those were causing some kind of conflict. Either way though, this is fantastic and exactly what I was looking for, great job!

you can try running the updated version of the dll (new tracks now use absolute file path instead of relative)

This is really great, thank you so much! One thing I've noticed with it is that it seems to loop the same track repeatedly instead of moving onto a random other one. Do you know if there's any possible fix for that? Also I did have one game with stutters and a game crash when I exited the game, though I also had this a couple days ago regardless.

Wormkit Modules / Wormkit module for ingame music?
« on: October 24, 2019, 04:31 AM »
Hey all, first time poster here but a lifelong Worms player. I'm curious if there's any Wormkit module for increasing the ingame music playlist beyond what's in the DATA/Streams folder in W:A, in similar vein to wkTerrain I suppose.  I'd like to have the music from WWP and Worms 2 mixed in with the W:A ingame music altogether, instead of having to replace files and being limited to the 11 "slots" in the Streams folder.
