You may argue against it, but it is not normal when you minimize and go back to the game it loads black screen, and have to use unorthodox method to leave it such as windows+tab and make new desktop just to wait for WA to respond or to end it with task manager. This was never an issue with 3.7.2.1 though. I don't understand how this could be overlooked at all.

Any plan to make this work better? Ideally players should only require the terrain that is used and not need to have the same list.
This also affects replay playback; replays with custom terrains will only play if the same terrains are present that were present when the replay was created.
(Perhaps in the future, W:A could detect custom terrains and embed them in the replay and maybe even send them over the network.)
When playing online make sure that all players have exactly the same list of terrains, or the game will desynchronize on start.

Problem 2 can be worked around by disabling full-screen optimisations (WA.exe Compatibility tab)
You could also try enabling Windowed mode in advanced settings (this might solve both problems).

Weapons you can drop that don't go anywhere (mine, dynamite, ming vase) always have a minimum of 5s retreat. There's some rationale if you think about it.
