Leagues Playoffs / Re: Classic League Clanner Playoffs #50

There's no rule regarding who's allowed to play in POs, as far as I can remember. It's up to TdC whether they let you take part or not, but you would still have to rejoin them so that it's possible to report the games you played ;)

By the way: http://www.speedrun.com/Worms_Armageddon has no records so far 8)
They require a video verification though (you need to record your entire playthrough).

This gif is zero percent scence and 100 percent bullshit. First of all, rockets can produce continuous thrust, so you can leave any object at any speed as long as the net force points up. Second, even without continuous thrust, you don't need these speeds if staying in orbit is all you want. Low Earth orbit satellites move at about 8 km/s (17900 mph). 25031 mph is what you need to get out of our planet's gravitational well altogether.
And these rockets don't even represent the escape velocities written below the planets. Earth's is over twice as large as that of Mars, yet the rockets seem to be moving at roughly the same speed :-X

barman, which tv do you have, what are the specs?

I recently bought a panasonic viera 4k 3d tv, the picture was beautiful but it was impossible to play games as the latency was horrible, VGA was the fastest but still too slow, HDMI both 1.4 and 2.0 were ridiculously slow, for example if I tried to do an outlaw it would turn into a pump due to latency on screen, I tried every option in WA and for graphics card could think of and nothing worked.

So I sent it back and got a refund and dunno what to do now lol.
LG 27UD68-W, connected to the PC via DisplayPort. No issues with 4k and 60fps. I got it mainly for Photoshop work and occasional video editing, so can't say much about gaming performance, but I roped a bit on standard sized maps and it seemed good enough, no noticeable lags. I could only complain that the maps are so damn tiny in full res. I needed to switch to 1920x1080 in WA, otherwise it's virtually unplayable.

General discussion / Re: ¿How do I upload replays to youtube?
« on: May 27, 2016, 03:16 PM »
Right click replay, select Export video, set resolution and frame rate, export. Combine the exported frames into a video using an adequate software (such as VirtualDub).
Alternatively, just run the replay and create a video directly using any screen recording program. This needs a fast PC, though.

Hate to say it, but this keyboard looks extremely tacky and cheap with all the plastic decorations

1. upload to http://imgur.com
2. copy the "Direct link" from the right panel (the one ending with the file extension), in this case http://i.imgur.com/TXkf1zM.png
3. paste this code to your description: [ img ]http://i.imgur.com/TXkf1zM.png[ /img ], without the spaces
4.

Is that what you want?

nice ae barman, just curious, how much did you spend on that? seems very expensive stuff.

btw did you see god ae? huhauh
About $3000. Brand new is more like $4000, but I bought some of the parts used. I'm currently saving for a full blown pro camera which costs more than my entire current setup combined :-X

Never seen any aliens, gods or UFOs. ;) People claiming they saw this sort of stuff are simply misidentifying natural or man-made lights due to the lack of experience. I once saw a slowly moving light and was quite confused about what it was, since the flashing pattern was irregular and not characteristic for an airplane. Later I found that it was just a damaged satellite in orbit reflecting sunlight into the surface of Earth with its solar panels, something like this:
