Practical problem: none of any clan's stats would be indicative of anything (maybe only of how many good players have been "hired" for games )

Also, what MI said. Its a matter of winning/playing with a person you feel you belong to a team (at least for me).

Other than that, I doubt there'd be people who'd opt for that anyways.

I'm sure you're 100% aware of how personal "pride" in this game reflects, translates and is multiplied as clan "pride". Not sure the satisfaction would be the same if your team were to win by using others who simply happened to be there.
