TUS Discussion / Avoiding rule
July 06, 2011, 05:59 PMQuote from: franz on July 06, 2011, 05:52 PM
There are no rules about avoiding, but you seem to have a strong stance on it.
If you'd like to voice your opinion or get everyone else's, I encourage you to write up a rule about avoiding and how to enforce it.
A new thread about it might be more appropriate since this thread might want to continue to talk about the clanner point system.
Avoiding: Any player or clan who is looking for a tus game and is not willing to play another person or clan is avoiding and will be penalized.
Examples of avoiding:
Player A asks for a clanner or tus and player B says yes, but, player A will not play them
Player A asks for a clanner or tus and player B asks another person in private for a tus or clanner instead of excepting the game being offered.
Player A only asks for tus games in private to certain people and does not ask "tus anyone?" in AG
Options for penalties:
I would like to see the person or clan who is at fault of avoiding lose the max points that could have been loss if they accepted the game.

TUS Discussion / Roper cup
March 21, 2011, 06:03 PM
I would really like to host a roper cup with a slightly modified scheme and rules. No sudden death, blocks allowed and I would like slightly higher fd. An example of how much fd I want is when you would normally get a couple fd on the side wall from the floor say for 51 damage I would like it to be around 57. Roughly about 6 more damage for all drops.
The only problem is I am having a horrible time creating this scheme I want. If anyone could help me out creating the scheme I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Leagues General / Roper rules
March 13, 2011, 04:39 PM
- Crate before attack (CBA). You must collect a crate before doing any damage to you opponent (touch both walls instead at sudden death), if you break this rule you aren't allowed to attack the next turn, if you break it more then once, seems your doing it on purpose, or kill your opponent the game will be void or given to the victim
This rule works for singles play but not for clanners. Also in a clanner who is suppose to skip? The person who commits the rule break? The rule needs revamped for clanners.
In a clanner if there is a high health worm and a low health worm on the same team and the other team attacks the high worm before the crate and then the other team mate of the other team again attacks that worm a skip is not a correct punishment because by the time the person who initially broke the rules skips. The high health worm has lost too much health that can not be gained back by 1 skip and the game is completely changed. There is no more chance of a 2v1 worm advantage strategy.
