Messages - Kradie

#1111
Two decades ago, I made a scheme just like this, maxed out weapon powers etc.

I am not sure why I haven't posted this yet, perhaps it laid dormant within my mind, until this very scheme resurfaced again here on tus. It triggered my subconscious mind. So technically I made this scheme! Still, I don't have anything to back my claim up.... But I need everyone here to believe it! It is the truth!  :D

Give me the recognition I desserve!  :D

:P

Why was Peja banned VoK? Anyone knows?

I have taken the liberty to update the scheme. Please review the changes and maybe try for yourself.

Coincidence or not, this scheme is very similar to BuildConv. With all Kradie's activity in TUS and his interests in schemes, it is strange that he doesn't know one of the schemes that is on the front page of PoC community. Sometimes coincidences happen, and reading Shopper Architect's inspirations and acknowledgments (I like when people do this), this might be the case of a coincidence. BUT, I doubt Kradie never seen BuildConv before, maybe BuildConv was in his subconscious.
I admit I have never checked every profile and communities here on TuS.- I haven't checked every scheme that exists on TuS either. I pretty much Ignore most of the things, and only check on things that I personally find interesting.

Years ago, 2016, I tested out a scheme called Girder Roper. I tested it with pavlepavle, but we didn't like it so much, because of the limitation of the game at the time, and my reluctance of using rubberworm.

However, I may have seen or read about Charle's BuildConv, but I didn't think much of it, and moved on. Perhaps this, and my own idea, was subconscious or not. I don't know. This scheme I made, was not an attempt to plagiarize and taker glory.

Imo, these two schemes are different enough to be each independent version.  The people I played it with, liked it, and that's all that matter, doesn't it? Give something to the community once in a while.

I also added Charle's version in the scheme page here. :)

seems really similar... Shopper with building
The differences is significant enough to be a simple copy and paste. First off, in Shopper Architect, you start on empty land with borders all around. Secondly, there are no crate showers in BuildConv, but only health crate. It is like saying ''Roper is like Shopper, they are similar.... Shopper with rope....''. Thirdly, health crate do spawn but in small dosages, but this can be eventually removed because the scheme is new. Anything is subject to change based on feedback. Finally, no worm here have teleport in their arsenal. Also, girder placing is mandatory.

hmm
I don't know this scheme. I don't think the rules & settings are identical?

Or am I missing something?

That's a good suggestion. But, in addition I would like to add something: The top 5 to 10 schemes that are being actively played could be accumulated into one league, ''Active Scheme League'' (ASL). Such league with its selection of scheme based on activity, would only last a season or so, until a new batch of active schemes are introduced to replace or stay in the next ASL.  So the more people play Intermediate, Shopper, & Kaos e.g, these schemes would have big chance to be included in ASL.

Maybe it was suggested but I didn't get it. :o

Leagues General / Re: Where are the clans?
June 16, 2021, 08:02 PM
Clan ob is in AG most of the time.

Personally, I can be available after 8PM (GMT+2), to do a few games.

Just ask me on snooper or discord, but do not get offended if I cannot.

If I am not available, you can ask: Aladdin, Blitzed, Guozi, or Adna.

My henchmen have been instructed to battle you if you so choose to do :)

Leagues General / Re: TUS leagues request

I asked for ZaR For TRL (second time around), long time ago.
https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/leagues-general/zar-for-trl-season-28-32278/

Poll data is old and out of date though. But I wouldn't mind ZaR or BIG zar RR for a TRL.

Hmmm, Team17 would be nice.

Stop living in a bubble and let us enjoy tus silence, rather than 2-3 stupid threads every week.

You don't give the green light around here.

You're right. I'm only here to give red lights to decrease annoyance level.

When a group of people or person suggest that I could ever be bothered to make multiple accounts to further my case, the chances that they are more likely to do it. It is inconceivable for me to do such deceitful act.

What's even more inconceivable, is the fact that it is being suggested that I am spreading false Information in regards to ZaR is being a more difficult than Roper. I simply state that ZaR is tougher than Roper, and that anyone can make up their own mind. If they wish to discuss it, I will provide reasons as to why I think ZaR is tougher. This whole ZaR vs Roper business has nothing to do with conspiracy theory. I mean like what the actual quack? It is laughable.

Also, I do believe I asked the question ''What's your thought? Is ZaR Roper harder than Roper?''

I could had asked ''Is Dark Souls harder than Super Mario Brothers (For nes).

There are NONE psychological motives here. I mean, to suggest such thing, must mean it is a conspiracy LOL.  :D

If a person truly believe that anyone can master anything in high difficulty, then yes, it will become easy. This is why, video game have different difficulty settings from Easy to Expert, in which the ladder ZaR Roper stands as the most difficult of Roper, & W2roper. However, another definition can be made for example: If a less skilled person goes up against a skilled person, it will be harder by default, that holds true for any scheme.

It is only natural of a person to seek hardest challenge by upping the difficulty by choosing something more intense. In which where ZaR Roper is, with its 12 seconds turn time, 5 seconds retreat, bazooka handling, creative surgical bazooka shots made in mere seconds, and, mine & destructed terrain maneuvering. Of course, you have more to work with in Roper, but someone said that mine and grenade makes it easier to plant and deal damage, and it seems to be preferred choice by any players. ZaR, has a greater yield than Roper, and the community is a testament to that, because ZaR is both fun and rewarding.

I am proud to have been able to build great community, and I am thankful for everyone involved as member and nonmember. I think ZaR community, have made small to big  Impact for all players of WA, hopefully for the best, and seen as serious business when it comes to roping. It's just a shame that a particular group of people targets one particular person to undermine ZaR's accomplishment & relevance to Worms Armageddon. Worms Armageddon is small community, we should only be so lucky that there are people active, actively trying to make good environment for people.

TUS Discussion / Re: Suggestions by sbs

Newcomer, or Noviice, are more suitable imo. The word ''Noob'', is more of a child word. I don't like it when people describe themselves as one, even though I may use it jokingly :P

I can perhaps understand to some degree, and can share some sentiment provided by Jessa. However, the formulation of the post and the expression Jessa used, I do not support.
