I'm still not sure how the inventors of ZaR stole w2roper from you. The only thing we are guilty of is that we took an existing rope scheme and enhanced it. The concept idea was not only from Worms 2 Roper, but to make ZaR hard and unforgiving, it is designed to be tailored to hardcore ropers not vise versa.

Regarding the mines, all I did know at the time, that there was a version of Worms 2 roper with ONE mine. We simply added FIVE mines for maneuvering skills. One mine seemed a bit easy and silly to us.

There's been many roper adaptation out there, most notable Bazooka only. You could say ZaR got it from there too.

Based on the information you have provided, your variant of Roper is more laid back, and aimed for fun only. While on the other hand ZaR is the opposite.

In the end ZaR didn't steal anything, why? Because ZaR is an adaptation and inspiration of multiple schemes. So you could try to be a little humble about it ;)

So I ask of you Mr Avirex, try to realize that ALL schemes or well anything in life in general is an inspiration! Everything evolves, maybe some people have problem accepting changes, but that's how life is :)

It's funny how passionate Mr Avirex is about w2roper these days while ignoring the elephant in the room. 

Despite ZaR being an esoteric topic, it is still superior alternative in terms of strategy and luck.

Btw, there is also a ZaR version where you can choose to get crate or w2w and attack.

Your analysis is a bit flawed Mr Avirex.

If one add a couple of instant mines on the terrain, and have bazooka and rope available in inventory, it should be called ''ZaR WxW'' because it helps separate the two schemes.

Like other schemes with the identical paradigms.

Should you call the scheme Elite for ''Normal Elite''?
Just because some settings are tweaked?

Kradie, how can you say the dyno is "such a devastating weapon" lmao... u thnk 65 dmg is devastating compared to mines @ 47 and zooks at 50?? and dont forget, nade + fd is well over a dynas power (this scheme has increased fd)    you dont know what your talking about.....   either that or we have different ideas of devastating, my idea of devastating would be a million instant mines on a map.

Avirex, I was not aware that you ''created ZaR'' one week before its original inception.
As I stated earlier, sm0k, spleen and I, we knew about there was ONE mine in original w2roper. We just thought of having 5 instant mines which one of them are a dud. It is to punish the player's maneuvering skills, not for laughs. So no Mr Avirex, I am afraid we did not ''rob'' your scheme, but rather enhance another. with Zook and Rope (ZAR). there's not even a parachute. You could appreciate the oddity of the idea not to counter it with bigotry.

You are right, but I felt compelled to state obvious facts that are perceived from me. Which all weren't addressed back due to submission.
In the end, all roper based schemes are similar but with perks & cons.

Try and imagine a dynamite and fall damage, that's heck amount of health that goes down the drain. I would define that as ''devastating''.

Avirex, I don't have anything against you, don't worry :)

It's basically roper without rules. You can choose to get crate or not. So basically you attack and hide or get crate, it is entirely up to the player.  There's also no water drop, dynamite, and the rope uses /ir that simulates the Worms 2's rope.

Also I made a poll last year if people were interested in having Worms 2 rope implemented into WA. Majority was against it, so again as I said the poll was about to have Worms 2 rope mechanic in the game as default. But WA already have the /ir function to enable it.

Unfortunately this is quite subpar compared to ZaR. You may argue it is older and holds more value due to hypocrisy but it is flawed.

There's no water drop here, meaning that are no sense of skill when you place a mine or throw a grenade. Therefor it leads to more luck.

What's up with the dynamite? It's overkill to have such devastating weapon, wouldn't you think?

2 worms is a nice touch, ZaR have this implemented which works flawlessly.

ZaR is inspired by Worms 2 Roper, but it goes beyond it in terms of pure skill.

Sadly bigotry will overshadow.
