it's maybe because no one respects you for your great personality?

I don't care about your sh*t talk. You are nobody to me.

You can do better Zalo!

I play for 5 years and I have never met this guy. I have never even heard about him. It just amuses me that he knows anything about me.

I shouldn't even matter here, but just my post about WA generations :/

It was very unnecessary of Mr Abe to engage in an immature provocation. Although, you could choose to Ignore his irrelevance, you can be above him if you choose.

We all have introduced some relevant facts as to why some of us don't play this game anymore.

But what if the issue lies within us? We fail to acknowledge each other as equals, ergo the superiority complex comes to play. If one truly wishes to be unique, then he/she shouldn't highlight his career and all of the accolades that comes with it.  Instead, use your past abilities and incorporate it with the present. I am sure a lot of people would appreciate a skilled player.  That is humble, able to reflect and use his knowledge to help others.
If more old school people could be more accepting, it would be good.

Mr Abe and Mr Zalo have demonstrated vanity to one another., something we shouldn't encourage. We can surely do better, if we all look past our mistakes and indifference. The truth is, we love this game, we don't need to rely on drama to sustain us. We're a small community and we do not need to be more divided!  That's how WA is dying, because of us.

Let's start make this place better. LET'S HOLD HANDS AND SING I FEEL PRETTY!

The community will always change, and it is your responsibility to adapt if you wish to be part of it. Instead, you have acquired people of this generation that you deem worthy in  your own self image, and resented the rest.

It seems to me that the reason why you don't play, is that you are afraid not being able to accumulate the respect you once had.  Instead you have what you have now, and keep to your sob stories.
Worms Armageddon is still a great game, and I think you have stumbled too far away from the tree to recognize it.

I do not loathe you Anubis. You are just a regular dude like the rest of us.
Don't let your ego consume you.

When it comes to Administrator, it is his/her responsibility not to be emotionally involved, and to be able to take appropriate action when it is needed. Neutral, and objective stance is important for an admin.
I am sure those who have been muted, banned etc in the past, have been given a fair chance.

I believe that MonkeyIsland does a good job here.

It is rather difficult to grasp that a 30 year old would take the liberty to act inimical.

Ah Mr ANO, you are the pinnacle of diplomacy.

Sensei is right again. Most professional players or those that are affiliated with old school, often anticipate respect. Once you belong to a place of elite, everything else become irrelevant.
It's just like a celebrity, it gets to your head.

Thankfully, not everyone are like this.

QuoteTBH: anubis did not really do, or say anything wrong... he answered the question from the original post, kradie and sensai had no business disputing his opinion... but f@#! it, its worms forum, thats what we do... thats what we always have done.. even in the past, with the elitist FB crew.
As did I Mr Avirex. I followed up on question and gave answers to them, but that resulted ignition.

In the end, it's just another day in the yard.

It's the person who you are, not the person you used to be that matter, and right now Mr Darkz, you are not winning any respect from me. Of course, your Intention may not to acquire my awe for you, but instead you use the past to justify the present.

I am not saying the past is irrelevant Mr Darkz, but using your old trophies as defense are.

Don't worry about that apology, I'm not expecting one, nor did I request one.
After all, it is who you are now that matters ;)

Or, alternatively you guys could not bother spewing your non-sense into a topic you have no idea about. Nino asked all oldies, and mentioned me and darkz as an example. Now if you don't mind, I will ignore your posts and we can move on, shall we?
A lot of the material submitted by various users on these boards are nonsense.

I simply evoked a discussion and conveyed from there. Unfortunately, the content result was overwhelmingly offending leading to hostile behavior.

@lalo: My condescending remark in regards to Mr Anubis was no insult, it was simply an observation to his first post. Unfortunately, Mr DarkZ took the liberty to insult me. Of course I was not offended.

Yes, go ahead, share, share to your heart's content.

Just said some of these "golden era of wa" stories starting to repeat themselves. Which really is a fact. I've seen it in 100+ threads already.

After that anubis said I've assaulted him, darkz called me newfag and walrus talking about inferiority complex?

Hahah. At least it's always amusing on tus if wnet is dying.

You assaulted us like we did something wrong or are saying not the truth. Again, please read the very first entry. It's nino, directly asking me why I stopped. Then you guys jump in and claim no it's not the reasons, like what the hell?

Then again, topics on tus are known to go way off topic. Besides, Mr Nino could had easily pm'ed you.

Wow, sensei and kradie, get a grip.

The community HAS changed, it isn't the same.  I don't even know why you are posting on the comparative changes when you weren't even playing during that era.  It sounds like you guys have an inferiority complex more than anything.  When I hosted warmers in 2000, my hosts would overflow with people.  Ropers were hard to get into as a noob, there was so many people.  The english speaking countries were heavily engaged, with too many active players to get anywhere near knowing everyone.

Now hardly any randoms speak english or play anything other than mole shopper.  Competitive play is nerfed.  Clanner activity isn't diverse, you are playing samee people/clans over and over.  The one good thing about the community is everyone knows everyone I guess, but it isn't diverse.  There used to be 100+ worms websites, now there is 10?  Maybe?

The community isn't the same just because you guys say it is.

In fact I only play because of a few people, oldsock, saltyk9, gabriel, sensei, peja.  If these people weren't playing, I would quit.

We know this. Old school people has to adapt this generation or stop reminiscing everyday about a time that is over.

As with any other games, people play because of the network they build. When their network shrinks, the reason to stay is less relevant.
And of course there's ''Life'' obligation that takes over.

Speaking of inferiority complex, I detect superiority complex.

Can you newfags please read the OP again, this is not a place for you guys to post your blogs. Gtfo and keep your ignorant opinions for yourselves or share them elsewhere, thanks.

Sadly, this is a prime example of a behavior that isn't needed. It doesn't help anyone.

It's revolting.

Community didn't change (that much..), you did. There are still many skilled and talkative ppl in #ag. Main problem is you guys are not a teenagers anymore and can't seem to get a grip for new generations, which is totally fine.

These "old school stories" were interesting at first, but now it feels like all you do is getting nostalgic and repeating lines. We got it...

This is very true Sensei.

There was so much stories involving old school players, praising their abilities and such, but in the end it go too tiresome to listen. In fact, some of these so called highly praised upper class players don't really have a charming attitude. Even today's generation, not a lot of people have an humble and accepting attitude.

@Anubis: I understand, it isn't easy for me or anyone else with a decent amount of English expertise to understand others with inferior English capacity.
It often leads others vulnerable to misunderstandings and discouragements to continue playing. Ergo the community shrinks, and gets divided.

Perhaps it is a lot to ask for automatic language translation to be included in the coming WA update(s).

But in the end, the inevitable truth is: WA is a nostalgia box for old school players who reminisces of good old times, and the new players who play mostly for fun.

The problem is Anubis, you do not take the time to familiarize yourself with new people. Sit down, try and have a conversation with them. WA is like any other games, a game to play and people to chat with.
You almost seem a little condescending, a common trait a lot of people possess.

The issue is simple, a lot of old school people tend to stick together, clinging on to something that once was but is not any longer present. Ergo the inextricably longing ruins the game overall experience. Although, this does not mean the game is dead, it is dead because of you narrowed sight but understandingly so. You should not neglect what is now, the past only exist because of memories and will not return.

Sadly like most games, a person will only gain recognition through competitive play, if not, they will be ignored. Then again, this is how it works, I would think.

Make one map pack called ''TUS League Map Pack'', that will contain all normal sized maps.

The map pack can have 100 to 1000 normal sized maps. This could avoid map conflicts.
