Ive developed strange urges to risk comming close to hurting or injuring myself lately, this time the gamble didnt pay off!

I was doing some gardening on sunday and I put my hand in between the blades of an electric hedge trimmer. I squeezed the trigger as hard as I could, the safety catch was on, so I thought id be ok, however the safety failed and the blades swiped together with my fingers in between them -.-

Luckily my fingers wernt completely choppped off, although I did seriously damage alot of the nerves and tendons in my left hand.  I was operated on yesterday and the docs say ill need a few months before I get any proper function back. My left hand will be in a splint for at least the 4 weeks.

Its annoying typing with 1 hand, so I made this thread to let everyone know! Pls gimme at least another week before try and play the t17 and jpr cups with 1 hand!

There are certain clans out there who will only play an opponants pick if they have players who can play that scheme well online. I find this lame because then your clan doesnt do well because all of you are good all rounders, it does well because those who are weak in certain schemes won't play those schemes.

I find it lame that certain clans hold everything up by waiting for another player to come online, it just ruins the clanning experience. Your supposed to be all rounders, so why cant you just have the same two people play both picks, rather than wait for the better roper/bnger/eliter to come online.

Your not an all rounder if YOU personaly won't play any clans pick, your lame!

Thats my old kb too angus! I used that for the first 3 years of wa, until the connection broke and I bought a tarantula.

IMO tarantula really wasnt worth the price.... I mean the only game I use it for is worms so I dont even make use of most of the macro features, and 10 key antighosting is of no relevance to anyone... you never need to press more than 2 or 3 keys at once. The "mega fast 0.5ms response time" is also just a selling gimmic, theres no noticable difference between this and the response time of any other kb you can buy. The illuminated logos all right but it looks abit lame to me.

I think that it may however subconsiously make you play better, as most people will have an expectation that a new kb is gonna improve their play. I like the music controls, and I like the fact its large and weighty and so it doesnt move around much when you hit it hard.

I see where shys comming from. Laptop keys generally have extremely low travel, and if you've ever played on a laptop you'll notice that there is a significant difference in response time and general feel. The flatter the keys and the lower the travel, the better it is for roping.

Obviously it doesnt really matter what kb you use, no kb is going to make you crazy fast, its all about technique and timing. (tarantula ftw)

Nothing personal Koras, im just frustrated at the cup because it really should be bo3 so that each player can pick a map to play. Considering jpr isnt a commonly played scheme, its going to be a problem that the person who hosts is going to pick a map he has played before, and the other person has never played. I see that all of the people from ONL picked this map, proving my theory true.

Anyway np, im just hot, sticky and frustrated so GGs there.

but i lost because of mistakes i made... so GGs.
