I may do that but it will require some preparation. Either way, that won't happen until I receive my rapid trigger keyboard, which should arrive within a month.

Thanks, finally a good run. Would love to get a 120 but not sure if it's possible for me. Certain tricks are very hard to do consistently.

Nah, way too many mistakes. I'm sure Masta or Shtaket can finish this in ~150 seconds without breaking a sweat. I'll continue playing however and hopefully get sub 200.

Oh! Is that a Keychron I spy?? Certainly looks like it!

Yep, K3 Pro.

There you go: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/Oko7Aj6ytyvLvw
But don't watch it on Yandex because it downscaled the video to 1080p and messed up framerate. Download it on your PC instead and watch it in VLC or any other media player.
Replay in attachment.

Prove yourself and I'll buy you a new keyboard!

Nah, I'm happy with my current keyboard, it's good enough. Thanks anyway.

Alright, I'll record a video once I figure out how to configure OBS to display keyboard inputs.

General discussion / Re: Wireless Keyboard For Roping?
« on: February 14, 2024, 05:51 PM »
Wireless keyboards are fine for roping when used in 2.4 Ghz connection. Generally, only Bluetooth has horrible latency so I'd avoid that. With that being said, there are a couple options that meet the criteria:

1. Logitech G915 / TKL. Low latency in 2.4 ghz connection and long battery life (can go for several months without charging). However, keycaps will develop shine over time and switches can't be replaced: if a switch breaks after warranty period you won't be able to fix it.
2. Keychron K5 Max / K1 Max. Very customizable keyboard: switches and keycaps are replaceable. Comes with QMK/VIA support which allows to remap keys, create macros, key combinations and so on. Very well built overall: high quality double-shot PBT keycaps, switches and stabilizers are factory lubed. In terms of noise level it is comparatively quiet: I have a K3 Pro which is almost identical to this keyboard and I was surprised to find how quiet it is. Even Logitech K120, a membrane keyboard, is louder. However, battery life leaves a lot to be desired - it can only work for about a week without charging. Also, backlighting on it is useless because it doesn't shine through keycaps.

There are other options but I've only watched reviews or had personal experience with these two.

I'm not sure if touching finish without releasing the ninja rope counts, so please check. If not, then 78.40 would be the correct time.

Thanks, somehow managed to hit the ceiling in the perfect spot, got so lucky there. Don't think I can repeat that, so 30s is out of the question at least for now.

This might be the best ttrr sequence I've ever watched. Great run, SirJ. Hats off!

Thanks!

Yeah, they can definitely get 31s with a quicker finish without the kick I think.

Swing is harder to do but it's quicker yeah. I almost got a ~31.7s but unfortunately the worm didn't hit the roof (replay in attachment). Nevermind, got a legit 31 now.

31s seems really tough to get, and unless there is a way to optimize the current route, I don't see how I can possibly improve my record. I'm gonna try again with a new keyboard when it arrives, perhaps that will make a difference.

Really cool map though, glad it was selected for the challenge.

Thanks, but I feel there is still much room for improvement, so I'm not done with this map yet. Aiming for 31s at least.
