Description:
Zar Surf Roper, is a Zar roper scheme with added surf rule. Inspired by Surf Shopper.

Explaining map & surfing
Maps must be floating over sinkable water. Players must give themselves enough momentum & speed for nice and accurate surf. To surf; give your worm a sharp & hard swing close & equal to the water surface, or kick from bottom wall and release. While you are surfing, press ENTER to fire rope, this only applies when bouncing on water. Bouncing on water, refers to skimming, players must commit to 2 skims in any direction. E.g, you skim 1 time, and save yourself, and do the other skim shortly after. You are free to do more than 2 skims, 1 skim is a cow. Also this is important, when your turn begins, aim slightly up with rope by using arrow up. This makes it easier to attach rope while skimming on water.

The rules & Scheme Settings
ACTIVATE /TS IN HOST ROOM.
4 worms per team if 1vs1, 3 worms if more.
Surf & skim 2 times in whatever direction.
CBA - Crate Before Attack.
AFR - Attack From Rope.
KTL - Kill The Leader, only if Free For All.
w2w = Touch both border walls during Sudden death.
Blocking is not allowed.
Firebombing is allowed.
17 second turn time.
5 second retreat time.
Instant mines, including dud mines.
Destructible terrain ON.
No chutes, zook and rope only.
Mine-knocking (shooting at a mine from rope so it falls on a player) is allowed without cba, so long as the zook itself doesn't do any damage.

Thanks to doc & Dennis for testing and helping out with the scheme.

The learning curve of Zar Surf might irritate & discourage some, but to overcome it's prestige design & challenge holds great reward.

I’ve played this scheme a few times already and have found it a very fun. Maybe there might still be room for some improvement.

I’ve encountered situations in which you might end up stuck with, for example, a Mine worm where you can’t reach the enemy to attack it in the end due to the fact you have very little amount of supplies for climbing, but I think this is also a key part of the strategy of this scheme: to give priority in protecting your best pieces as you can. And as its author says, it’s a scheme made to push your skills with different kinds of weapons, so it doesn’t matter where you are; you must try you best with whatever weapon you currently have.

I also felt the lack of girders for making bridges, but these could also be used for blocking, and if they were added, it could easily mislead this scheme’s grace, so I’d say it wouldn’t be a good idea.

But one negative aspect I did notice is that this scheme doesn’t play well in any random map as you can see in this example:



So yeah, having 3 worms stuck in that right corner when you only have 1 teleport and very weak climbing supplies, yeah this game was a no-go for my opponent. In order to fix that, I just make sure I select a previewed map in which has no tiny caves like that, but large enough ones, where a battlefield can be developed and it doesn’t have more than 1 wall separating the worms within from the main area of the map. I guess a notice/warning like that could be mentioned in the scheme’s description.

Thank you Magnus for your feedback,and your critique is right. That mobility is tough in this scheme, and therefore I have taken the liberty to update this scheme by adding; Infinite blow Torch & drill. Both of these tools does zero damage to the worms now, they are tolls, not weapons. Also there are now total of 3 girders that can be placed over the entire map.There's also infinite bungee too.

Because of these implementation, the scheme feels more complete and diverse. Then again, it could ''mislead it''. I have had many good games without the added content though. Keep in mind, scheme is still in development, and might receive more fine tuning. Perhaps the added tools will be removed? Who knows...

 thought of having freeze in it. This could be a useful tool to skip infection. So e.g; You can choose to freeze or do serious damage  and receive infection.

Anyways, keep playing and bring more feedback :)

I have removed blow torch & drill, but kept the 3 girders. Bungee is present as well at infinite quantities.
