Description:
My heavy variation of the fort building scheme. This time with big modifications to make the scheme more fun, cooperative and balanced while still keeping the tension. 2 teams start at the bottom of the map on 2 big platforms where they build their fort/base with girders and collect crates. Version 3.8+ is required for this scheme.
Setup:
Players: 6 player 3 vs 3 game or 4 player 2 vs 2 game.
Worms: 3 vs 3 game - 2 per player, 2 vs 2 game - 3 per player.
Map: Specially designed map here.
Rules (game start):
At the start of the game, when teleporting, the 2 teams distribute 2 of the available platforms in the map. One team teleports on one platform and the other team teleports on the other platform.
Things you should know before playing:
  • There's a 10 turn delay for weapons (excluding prod and girders). That means that in the first 10 turns all crates will contain girders. After the 10 turns, other weapons will start showing up in crates.
  • A game usually lasts for about an hour.
Enjoy  :)

Scheme #3667, Fort Architects submitted by TBikelis

I found out this scheme in January 2021. I played with TBikelis and it was one of my first games on Wormnet since my return.
Immediately liked the idea. Simply amazing.

I still host it on wormnet every now and then :)

TBikelis is a creative guy, this scheme is nice, but the idea is old. I reunited 10 different pages of players that had the same idea. It is known as Do It Yourself Fort.

Sorry if I don't know the story, I am new here around!
Many thanks! Now I want to try these other maps, can't wait to try them! *O*

I don't want to ruin your apreciation for Fort Architects, if I would play a DIY Fort scheme one day, I would consider a lot Fort Architects, because it is very well explained and thought, it is made for version 3.8 and I like TBikelis ideas. I just sent the link showing other schemes/maps, because there are other interesting options, I don't know which one I would like more, and these people deserve to be reminded and credited as well. Also, it took some time for me to find all these isolated maps.

If you plan to create a cup with a scheme like this, I would probably try it. You're welcome.

You didn't ruin my appreciation at all! I am now just curious to try these maps. I must be honest. I took a look at other DIY fort schemes, but they give too many weapons and girders so I prefer this one. :) I might create some forts map for this scheme if I get inspired! :)
