Most men want lots of sex, most women don't, especially in deeper relationships, women are MUCH better at resisting sex and going longer perioids of time without it, thankfully technology(pron) has made it possible for both sexes to enjoy their sexual fantasies without being in a dead end relationship where they don't feel "taken care of".
I remember a saying:
"A woman needs to feel loved to have sex while a man needs to have sex to feel loved".

You are very lucky if you find a perfect balance.
Also, in todays world where women feel like they have something to prove and rise above the males who run the world, it's hardly surprising they work harder, because they have to.
