Post by: Husk on November 28, 2016, 10:58 AM
the roof of fruit theme can be frustrating, but the more u practice all the obstacles, the more u know which roof touches are safe, gl hf xD

Hmm Husk shouldn't you hide the replays until challenge has expired?

You mixed it up with battle race? :)

No. Why you think replays should be visible for boom race?

Whenever timer goes up from 999, it goes to 100, but it will tick every 10 seconds now

EDIT1: Export Logs?

Battlerace/walkrace requires more accuracy than boom. Player can be stuck on one jump for hours if he's not experienced.
In boom it's not a thing, you have 30-40 weapons and rubber module. It's all about reflexes and aiming. Other ppl replays are not gonna help you that much.

Still, an obstacle on the map could be done with a simple solution like using a particular weapon while one could be wasting turns trying other weapons.

hmmm I guess through log u could check kinda how long the turn was... i'll look into it xD

game time 00:00:04.40 u begin ur turn
game time 00:18:10.84 u finish

i believe we can use that info to count ur time xD

so ur turn was 00:18:06.44 long xD

18 minutes is 1080 seconds... ur record is 1086.44 ? did I count it wrong lol

Wally's replay should be 456.60 if touching the surrendered worm counts as finish

hmm need to get between the worms to finish

not sure if it is the smartest of choices now that I think of it, but it's around few seconds time loss for any1 who lands on either of the worms instead of the girder

that few seconds shouldn't matter too much as usually boomrace challies are won with many tens of seconds between 1st and the 2nd

but yeah on shorter / easier map, it would sure matter much more =P

lmfao I gotta stop going through replays with fast forward I missed that nana xD

so good haha

btw sensei, if u r wondering about the .02 included to ur replay, I used the timing of worm hurt sound to take the time of finish just like I used for others aswell

thanks!

also omg @ husk time, thats a nice run m8!

and by the way, i'd try more elaborated shots... but the risks aren't worth the rewards since you can get stuck in SO many places... for example, the grape shot at the very beginning of my run; if you get stuck in that hole it'd take at least 1sg1z / 2zook to get out of there... and those are already 10 seconds

Yeah.. I tried few more turns yesterday. That first part of the map.. Bah, lost 20 minutes to get it right. It should be ultra slow or ultra lucky, no other way around! Real pain in the ass.
