Post by: Lupastic on May 26, 2022, 11:23 PM

Not sure if my replay will be valid, because I ignored the map's intentional route, but I discovered a very fast method. I made it in less than 170 seconds.

I wonder how it was possible to get around this, on top of the map? But I kind of drew a line so as not to get there xD

So, the replay will not be valid? It is not here anymore. I may try the conventional method again, but Lupastic did it very well with few mistakes.

If it will not be valid I will upload it to TUS anyway.

Bypass will not be counted, it is necessary to pass as expected

Ok, here is the replay (https://www.tus-wa.com/files/file-2559/) of the 169.92 time record bypassing the intentional route. It took me a good time to do it, so I uploaded to TUS, despite being considered invalid.

Here are the crucial parts GIFs:

Well, it has a right to exist like a separate speedrun in the out of bonus

Yeah, I think Monkey Island could improve TUS challenges by allowing challenge hosts to create separate categories. That would be cool.

By the way, I made 2 GIFs of my replay (crucial parts), they are on my previous comment (I edited the comment to add the GIFs).

Already in my list. Allowing "honorary" attempts. (and probably TA attempts)

i wonder if mines are intended in this scheme

i enjoy the fact there's no patsy bullet, but the map is too long and my hands get tired quickly :(

such a smooth run Gabriel. In many jumps you did things that normally only TAS would do
