Nice run vesuvio, Lupastic and ty, шn the future, I plan to continue creating unusual missions.
By the way, in this mission there is a second option for passing, although I spent 342 seconds on it. It will be interesting to see if anyone can find this way. I'll wait and then I'll post my replay

i thought about zalos way too as i tried to beat your time lupi... and i think its not rly the challenge win it should not count because now i would need to make a new run and do it that way to have the best time. i once read about it , monkey island was asked to make it possible to honour ways of beating challenges like this and he agreed.. i hope you see it the same way  :P

It can easily be Sub 110, which I will upload as soon as I get it.

I followed all the rules Ves. I broke out from the prison by climbing the building, using tools that I had.

nope sry that map has a way designed to break through with weapons.. silly you leave the map and climp on the roof xD EVERY1 can do this but its skillless pointless in timecount !!! for roping and using weapons . so you deserve a honour as it was mentioned before but you not did the exact challenge

btw i cant find where i read it. but its allready mentioned in challenges and in work seen by MI that there comes another way to honor attembs like yours ! but u do not mess with people following the challenge .. where skill is asked

wtf, vesuvio, are you drunk again? It took me 250 attempts to reach 95.76 that I have right now... 250 attempts!!! and you are talking about how it doesn't require any skill?? Then do it faster than me. I still had to deal with a steep wall and mines greeting me on the top of the building. The challenge is called "Escape the prison" not "Race through the Prison"

LOOK AT MY FOLDER

GonZaLO found the second way to escape that I mentioned earlier, but I did not expect that it could be faster than the way through the prison itself. (At least according to my tests) I will accept such methods because I expected such a passage but did not expect it to be so fast. It would be nice if the ability to add special subcategories would be implemented in the future on the site

When I got my first Sub 130 seconds I was super happy. But then I kept finding more and more and more ways to improve it. If I gave it extra 2 hours maybe I would get Sub 90 seconds. I'm happy that you appreciate alternative & creative ways. So far it took me 10 hours with breaks here and there.

"It would be nice if the ability to add special subcategories would be implemented in the future on the site"

yes ..

zalo i thought it wasnt that much work for you..
"The challenge is called "Escape the prison" not "Race through the Prison" thats silly because the real challenge is the escape through the prison.. your way kirill thought was not ment to be faster .. in my eyes its just silly for people trien to beat the race challenge... here in this case it had been nice to reward 2 people zalo for his way and also the one who rly did the challenge as it was build .....

but your time effort deserve respect .. could you upload a replay of you roping the prison race zalo ? because i would like to see ur time ^^

When doing my 95.76 route, I died upon touching Helicopter mine 5x times at ~95, before I finally made it. As for my race route, I gave up on it because I saw no point in repeating somebody's else idea for finishing the challenge. I am bad at spontaneous roping but good at repeated roping.

OK U WIN THIS CHALLENGE . FOR YOUR WORK: but "I gave up on it because I saw no point in repeating somebody's else idea for finishing the challenge" thats not correct..... the idear is and challenge is .. to master the race as quick as possible.. but your way is another route in wich you do not mess with the work people put in the map editor made way........ BUT after all u said how much effort and work it was u win

pity is that you do not mess with the rope skills of the way.. not handling weapons like lupastic and me and i wish more :S i dont know if you had a better time if you rope that way through the map.. i thought thats the challenge of having the best time there but your way is impressive .. so congratulation ^^

actually I liked the shoot homing missiles to create holes and then flagpole your way up with rope to the top operation, it felt like an antagonist bad guy using climbing hooks to get over a huge wall : ] it was nice, THIS TIME this surely shouldn't be considered as cheating or suttin

Well, in any case, in the final of the challenge, I will manually sum up the results and write who took the first places in the first variant of the passage and who in the second, so you can go in both options, it will be more interesting

Perhaps the situation that vesuvio was talking about is when Pavel-B completed the bungee challenge in 3 turns (https://www.tus-wa.com/challenges/challenge-24/msg278865/#msg278865) and MonkeyIsland removed the replay out of respect for other participants in the challenge who completed the entire map, and also say that in the new version of the TUS will be added section "honorable attempts".
But I think that such a decision was made rather not on behalf of the administrator, but because MI was the host of that challenge and there are no complaints against him.

As for this challenge, Zalo did everything according to the rules, plus Kirill knew about such a passage of the map from the very beginning and did not prohibit such a path, so there should be no complaints against anyone.

P.s. I also remembered the cool passage of the map from Masta (https://www.tus-wa.com/challenges/challenge-122/msg281380/#msg281380) , which MI was indignant at approved, because in the description of the challenge it was written that "random pumps" are not allowed (although for some reason I don't see this now).

The route through the right wall, and by climbing to the rooftop might actually be faster. I'm currently working on it, and it seems to make sub 90 possible with perfect climbing.

I just uploaded my luckiest ever and most clutch run that I could ever dream of   :-X  :o  :D I am sooooooo done with this challenge  :-* I will forever save this replay in my laptop folder and show it to my grandchildren :')

These are all the things that I am proud of in my final time:
Spoiler! View

- Only 4 Homing Missile holes on right wall, pushing rope's length to its absolute limits. Such climbing requires extremely well-timed jumps and perfect angle to shoot rope. It felt impossible to ever pull off during my first 300 attemps.
- Balancing on the rope to turn to its upward position was one of the fastest I have ever done.
- Destroying the construction at the beginning with 1x Holy & 1x Homing Missile to speed up my roping through that place. I really struggle when it's too narrow.
- I shot all my bazookas upwards, creating my balcony higher, so that my Homing Missile could just barely reach the highest spot from where I stand. You can see it was briefly flying deactivated.
- Lucky rope control in the final swing, without being blown out & grabbing helicopter in the best spot
- 16th second !!!
- Just barely Sub 82 time :' )
