Since I returned to the game (a week ago), I have not noticed that they were playing hysteria. Is it played here?
I will look at the number of players for the cup
P.S - Mod, confirm sooner please :)
Jee! Finally someone initiated Hysteria competition!
I'm joining in ;)

- telecow/jetcow and tele/jet suicide is NOT allowed;
*greatly confused face*
otherwise I'd like to join, but this doesn't make sense :D it's all part of the hysteria scheme..
This version of Hysteria with house rules is indeed a bit unbalanced via having luck due to not being able to pile when you get horrible placements and lose a lot of worms fast.
Though there is still a huge amount of skill involved with top players, comebacks are entirely possible if you are good enough(also lucky enough with wind).
There is a healthy amount of players who enjoy these house rules and it's nice to see any kind of activity supporting TUS. I'd be more than happy to stream as many of these matches as possible. :-*
You can't pile worms or get extra grave damage via jetpack or teleport, it doesn't say anything about shooting yourself or walking/jumping to pile other worms. ;)
another thing, how would it be moderated what is a telecowing move and what is not? if it's 10 pixels far away it's telecow, but 30 pixels are okay to do? ??? ???
this feels too strict over a theory that you don't prefer to play in hysteria, a certain gamestyle that you dislike very much (piling with tele + jet, suicides). like you were a referee on the football pitch making sudden decisions on your own about the rules ::)

If you use 'Teleport' to pile enemy worms, then it's a 'Telecow' via house rules.
If you use 'Jetpack' to pile enemy worms, then it's a 'Jetcow' via house rules.
If you use 'Teleport' to deal damage with suicide to enemy worms, then it's a 'Telecide' via house rules.
If you use 'Jetpack' to deal damage with suicide to enemy worms, then it's a 'Jetcide' via house rules.
It's very simple, distance is irrelevant.

Moderators of Cups can make any house rules they wish for their event and all participants must respect this if they choose to participate.
I think the Selecsteria (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3398/) scheme has long since solved the telecow/jetcow problem for those who don't like it. I recently hosted a cup according to this scheme - click here (https://www.tus-wa.com/cups/cup-1118/)

Well, it looks interesting, and I would not mind changing the rules, but will those who signed up for the cup support my decision?
added: However, it sometimes surprises me how much the ability to change settings for game schemes has increased.
But at the same time, I do not want the classic gameplay of the scheme to suffer.
Rules changed - telecow is allowed.
All other rules unchanged
I've never actually saw this combination of rules played before, quite interested to see how it plays out with allowing piling by any means though no suicide via teleport/jetpack.
Honestly, I like these rules, telecow balances the gameplay, and no sui expedites the gameplay because you dont have to hide your worms under cover, I would say, well played, Lancelot
I think this is the best combination available for fast action that isn't reliant on starting positions and luck

I'm glad someone is positive about some of the things I do here :)
I wanted to say that I am not interested in the players suffering in any way playing in my cup. I don't know who thinks about this, but I'll say on my own that this scheme has most of the gameplay due to shooting skills than tactical skills.
btw cup starts with 12+ players in register list. 16 will be very nice.
paired.
Good luck to everyone, try not to delay games over time.
so for final, tele and jet suicides are not allowed, but tele and jetcows are ok? (:

Sure
what happens if a player intentionally or accidentally does jetcide/telecide anyway?
he has to skip next turn, or he loses that round automatically, or..?
I think you should have mentioned that the cup scheme differs from the usual hysteria in that it has a random turn order
p.s. Some players have already played the usual hysteria scheme, will this be considered a violation?

Should this be done on purpose so that you can ask me unnecessary questions later?
The rule is simple, and breaking it is to do it deliberately for some purpose. Experienced players won't do this.

Nobody bothers to read all the conditions of the cup before joining it. And the scheme is no exception. The description of the cup/scheme contains all the necessary information that you need to know about the settings before playing.
There is no need to write the settings options more than once if they are indicated somewhere within the cup, specifically I mean the description of the hyst scheme
If you ignored this stage of acquaintance with the terms of the cup, then I cannot help you with anything.

I think this is obvious. After all, it's not for nothing that I write about playing according to the cup scheme every time, isn't it?
Sometimes it seems to me that they deliberately make me an unbalanced person in such events as cups or tournaments :(
For special players who do not read the description of the attached scheme to the cup, I write that, unlike the classic scheme, in this version, the worms move RANDOMLY
I would not write it just like that, because some players in this cup and in my group did not know that a different scheme was being used until I said about it, and secondly, already one game in the 4th group was played not according to the cup scheme.
You should have written that the scheme is different from the usual - in the description of the cup, because the name is the same.
It's your fault that you didn't convey the information to the players correctly, you don't need to be so toxic.

Well, maybe the mentality and the ability to read all the details of the event (in this case, the cup) is not given to everyone.
I will assume that this is a special case, and everyone is special, I have no other choice
p.s - And please, do not mix up the personal conflict between us in the discussion here
-_-
Group stage players, you have 9 days to finish the games in groups
p.s - medals added
k/o guys - 15 days for games
hf
