I wouldn't join this cup, cuz imo the scheme is like lottery (gambit, forbidden ;) ) but since those medals are lookin' fokkin' awesome, I need to join for them :D

On average, one round lasts 2-3 minutes. That is, in general, about 10 - 15 minutes per bo5 game.

I love your gifs, man. Very good job! Nice effort on organizing this event. I like the concept of this scheme by D1. I just feel lazy to schedule the games with players and I'm already in CWT and Realistic Cup, but I may join this Cup, it would be a bit of nostalgia from WO times.

btw about map:
maybe you should indicate map 7 from the mappack for playing cup?
coz they played on it in the WO many times and i will also add the fact that the worms can all stand on pixels and it will be possible to avoid the generation of gilders

Thanks. I think that this cup will not take too much of your time, in any case I will help the participants to connect with each other in order to facilitate the process.

Yeah, you're right, for 24 worms these maps are small.
Changes in the description of the cup: Only the cdrw07 (https://www.tus-wa.com/maps/map-11082/)map is now used for this cup.

Maybe one day we could also have "Earthquake dodging" with some small flat V platforms all over the map. Apart from Earthquake we could also put 2x MB bombs that would fly between them since they are quite unpredictable and fun to watch?

Formed 8 groups of 4 players each.
I remind everyone that the group stage is played in a bo5 format (up to 3 wins). Map: cdrw07 (https://www.tus-wa.com/maps/map-11082/), schematic: CDRW (https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-1089/).
Group Stage Deadline: October 14. After this date, replacements of inactive players will be sought, or more active players will be transferred to the next stage.
You can agree on a cup game in any way convenient for you and your opponents.

Its sad when people quited after 3rd game when it is best of 5. It is 3 wins already, but maybe more fun with 2 additional matches, already lost or win do not matter. :)

You three had the same number of wins and losses. If such a situation arises, the players can simply agree, but if discrepancies arise, then replaying the games remains preferable. Please finish your games as soon as possible, because the time will soon run out.

When it comes to BO5s yes we have all won twice.
But in detail its as follows:
Steps has won 7 "matches" and lost 4.
I have won 7 "matches" and lost 5.
Gabriel won 7 "matches" and lost 6.
Overall win/defeat ratio like goal difference in football.
So why not just like in football look at the details and let 2 people progress? Its just a waste of time to do it again with a good chance it might happen the same way again.

It has become too long a cup. I have extended the deadline several times, but I think it's time to stop.
I set the deadline to November 18, then I move the more active players to the next stage and give the newly each formed pair another week to play their game.
