We have 18 people so far. The cup will begin once we get 20 people. This means the final will be pushed further back.

Good news is, you get to chill a bit more :)

Prabe, what do you mean by "manually"?
The group #4 is quite unfair: it seems you set it up to make sure some good ropers would be out of the competition after the first stage.

But in this group there will be the most interesting battles

True, but if FIFA did not put France, Spain, Argentina and Brazil in the same group, there should be a good reasoning regardless of just some interesting matches.

You're right, it isn't fair but it isn't 100% unfair either in my opinion. I did say I would manually place people in groups, however I did failed to mention in the cup description that I would sort people by skill. Though I was hoping that people would get that, or people would at least make an inquiry on the cup page ''What does he mean by: sorting groups manually?'' But the last sentence is only speculative though. But I did float the Idea or that I said I would sort players by skill to other people. Nobody at the time seemed to object to this Idea.

The ultimate question is ''Why did you manually sort players by skill, Kradie?''
First off, I would like to say that the following sentence by Runaway is pure conjecture:
''it seems you set it up to make sure some good ropers would be out of the competition after the first stage.'' This must make sense to some people with a different viewpoint, but this is simply not true. The Idea was to allow lesser known players to have a fighting chance, Instead of having to be brushed off so quickly by a titan. It could help them elevate their confidence, as well as their competitive nature, and Interest in TUS. Although, some of these people that joined the cup did it not out of sheer competitiveness, but rather to support this cup and the community on WA.

A counter-argument could be something like ''A newbie or a less skilled player should be thrilled to go against seasoned player. Because perhaps only then there is something to aspire to''. This makes sense and I do agree with this. As well as I agree with ''Less Skilled player would probably opt out in future competition here on WA by losing hard to a titan.''. Admittedly this is quite the conundrum for me.

But keep in mind, this practice may not be repeated in future cups.

My point was just a consideration which does not worth a long justification. Ignore my comment.

I thought it was necessary to bring forth clarity.

Angus & Rem, these might be the most difficult players to schedule a game and play with. If anyone know these people, contact them.

Thank you.

10 days remains of group stage.

Knockout stage has begun, and deadline is January 20th.

Everyone else, I thank you for participating in this cup! It means a lot!  I hope to see you again in another cup!

STE has a BIG RR cup of his own coming up. That cup will use normal BIG RR scheme!

Good luck!
