there's turntime for that D1. You make as many hits/moves as you can within the turntime alternating turns with the other player like every scheme :)

Yep exactly. Each player has 20 seconds to move their worm as far as possible. Instead of the traditional Boomrace method of 1 shot per turn. 1st person to reach the finish wins.
I was thinking maybe have it on Yuuropers Stone Boom Race map, but any Br people want and agree on is fine.
Its essentially a normal br.. except its actually fun xD

/boom prevents your worm to be pushed from enemy's explosions, only your own weapons can move your worm.

1st 2nd options are only for proceeding the winner and runner up of the groups, but first the games need to be played :)

Just to make sure 100% I have this correct then
Example
Player 1 beats Player 2
Player 3 beats player 4
I would mark Player 1 and 3 as 1st
and Player 2 and 4 as 2nd
then proceed to knockouts
Is that correct? :)

Player 3 has 1 win out from 3 games
Player 4 has 0 wins out from 3 games
now what u would want to do is, you would mark Player 1 as 1st and Player 2 as 2nd

OK great, I think I understand it all now. Like I said at the start I was hosting the cup to learn how as well as have some fun.

I extended the deadline slightly after a couple of people expressed concern that they cant find their opponents on AG.
Again if anybody has problems with the deadline then let me know and we'll try and fix it for you.

Maybe he was just busy at that time. Always could be language barrier issue and not being able to explain why he couldn't/didn't want to play.
Or of course it could be what you said. Either way the game has to be played, I'll pm him and see what the deal is :)

I have tried pm'ing a few people to remind them about the cup but have not had any replies.
I think if people sign up to a cup or whatever here and do not play their games without letting people know a reason.. they just no show a cup, they should be unable to sign up to cups again for a month or maybe have a note next to their name so people know that "this player may not play his games" so hosts can make an informed decision.
Some people here I know are trying to play them, and there is still 5 days remaining. All will be well :)
It's funny though, people are voting me down already and the cup has only just began.. what else can I do?

No because I can't arrange my own time right now. I can be on wormnet in rare occasions when I have spare time, and I don't know in advance when it gonna be.

Game was... with unexpected turn... Chelsea took quite big lead while I was stuck on start trying to remember how to use any of the weps... but as soon as I found my old style here I took the lead and won! :D

Glad you enjoyed the scheme Rodi, there is so much fun to be had in Boomrace once you have the feel for it.
I will be extending the deadline I think, so with some luck we will get these games played. Also it is possible that I may just progress the top players through regardless of if games are finished or not.
Desetroyah has had to pull out of the cup I think due to going to Greece, I will confirm this first.

It's just when there has been no activity that I need to ask if people still intend to try and play them and have not lost interest :)

Just a heads up this is the last deadline I am setting guys as I want to try and get the cup finished :)
After the 3 days expires I will move the 1st and second place players from each group into the playoff stage.
If you are currently drawing my advice is to get another game played as draws will be settled by a coin toss / me pulling coloured balls with names on them from my anus... probably the coin toss though.

The reason for some people not going through (like Desetroyah and Risbo for example) is because they are unable to play. The other reason will be due to inactivity.
Sorry guys but I was hoping to host more than one of these in my lifetime and if we keep going like this we'll never get finished!
If you are upset by any result I am sorry, but nobody can say I didn't try my hardest to get these games played :)

Hey guys just a little update for you.
Rodent has been without an internet connection for a little while and is in the process of getting it fixed. He's not sure how long it will take and has said I can proceed myself and he will drop out if needed. Obviously I don't want to do that if it can be helped so what I am going to do is set a new deadline for him and hope that he manages to get his net fixed in time, and if not.. I will proceed myself if you are all happy with that.
You have until the end of the new deadline to let me know if you are not happy with my decision. After that the cup will hopefully have the final games concluded.
Thank you all for your patience here, the cup has been fun so far.. even though it has taken a while.
I may even jump onto photoshop and make some sexy custom medals for us all :)

I feel at this point I need to make a little point here regarding my last game with Gabriel.
Only 1 out of 3 games were reported against him because we only played 1 game because Gabriel rage quit after I used a petrol bomb to slow him down. Gabriel had already attacked me several times by this point (which is fine that is the nature of the scheme) but seems he can give it.. but not take it.
Guys these cups are supposed to be fun, I stated early on the boomrace stuff was optional and if it were up to me there would be no use of it at all. Gabriel hosted this game and neglected to put it on (a fact he made aware to me AFTER I had taken an early lead) and too late to make such changes.. changes that I would not agree to anyway.
As a result I have claimed my 1 win that he quit on and the second via disqualification due to rage quitting and we move to the final games. Feel free to watch the replay for confirmation of his bad attitude and unsporting behaviour. Sorry Gabriel, no hard feelings but that is how I see it.
Go ahead and give me "bad karma" and "smite" me all you want, but it's this type of attitude that makes WA a worse place to be. Enjoy your games and if you cant cope with losing don't sign up for cups.

2nd- I feel so sorry for my childish attitude, I was just angry. Everybody knows in TUS that when I get angry for something, or I dont like something I just quit. Im really sorry, maybe wasted ur time. You cannot compare, but, to shoot you down, by blocking the way 3 or 2 times, its really lame. I assume that this scheme has to have it, but got really angry and just shout some things and quitted.

Well me and Husk/Herpes have played our games and the final score was 3 - 2 to me. It could have gone either way, great games and great fun, the exact reason I wanted to host this cup in the first place.
Thank you all that took part, special thanks to Darkone who's constant help during the moderation of the cup helped me learn how to use TUS and host this cup for you all.
Just Chelsea / Gabriel left to play for the Bronze medal and we are done here.
I will certainly host another in time!

I am working on something at the mo with Project X, I am hoping to realise Trampoline Boomrace (maybe a few traps too etc) so that will re-invigorate the maps we have so far anyway.. and maybe I'll host that as the next BR Cup once I have it all worked out :D

I have added 10 hours to the deadline and when I return from work at 12 ish I will put the final pieces in place.
At the moment Chelsea is winning as he has more wins in the initial stage than Gabriel.
