There was no PM to players about the cup having started (as far as I know)
And only 4 days is just too short if people already have plans. It doesn't help that the official WN server is down either.

hum, really hard to say Darkone. I wanted to play in weekend, as I can find some time then, and now it depends on school. For example today I played only 2 ttrrs and 1 elite, and they were only in breaks beetwen other things. We will see if I find any free time. If not we still have time to Sunday, don't we? I'm almost sure that I'm free in Friday evening for some minutes. But I will try to catch you tomorrow, and I will try to be on AG about 8 pm ;)
Sorry for that but there is only one week to my exams, I'm gonna learn a bit... But after 17ty of May I'm pretty active again ;P

pr, you are being way too aggressive in this cup. What's up with that? First you make an extremely short deadline without warning whatsoever and then go calling people fags for not playing. Not cool. Being a cup mod doesn't make you exempt of common decency. I won't be accepting any more cups by you if you keep this up.
Maciej, stop pissing him off. You know you are. Actually, he is the moderator of this cup, so he does have a say about what happens with regards to players.
I'm gonna overrule him here though. Maciej, you're not out of the cup. But if you continue going on like this, I won't stop Dmitry again.

Final deadline for the group phase is next week.
pr is bumped from modding cups.
jester and boston are bumped due to inactivity.
I suspect the same will happen to Flori, but since benz and oky haven't played their game against each other yet, he'll get a chance to play for one more week.
If there's no activity, a group winner will be selected at random (benz or oky) and the other is runner up.
Group 7 will have no runner up that advances to the knockout if activity stays like this.

I don't really understand why you didn't think it was necessary considering you had several weeks to play your game and hadn't done so already. Clearly, something prevented you from playing! But it's not just you, I've even had one example where 2 players couldn't find each other for well over a month and when I randomly signed onto wormnet, I saw both of them in AG, and both of them were behind the keyboard! And they only played their game because I asked both of them.
That said, if you can play your game with darkz in a REALLY short time, I have no problem with that. But I didn't think it was fair to keep Maciej waiting longer while he finished his group 3 weeks ago.

I have asked people plenty to arrange their games and I have only seen dark post here. If people would for once do as I suggest, we wouldn't be having these sort of discussions, because the games would be played.
If you and dark would be so kind to arrange your game (properly! Not "hey, man, I'll find you on snoop", but "Dark, let's play on sunday at 7PM GMT" or something like that), then I have no problem whatsoever letting you play for the knockout phase.
I'm certain Dark would have no problems with it either.
My apologies to those who actually do arrange their games when I ask them, I know you're out there!

It's not lalo's fault, I'd say we share the blame 50/50.. Always messaged me on Snooper when I wasn't behind my screen, also the timezones and your "can't play at weekends" weren't a big help. Should've set up a time and date yeah..

I know the week is not over yet, but the weekend is usually the best time to play these games (with work and school and such interrupting during weekdays).
