Zippo, do you want this to be a public cup or a private cup for brazilians only?

Seriously, guys? He hasn't hosted a single cup before and hasn't even started hosting this one. How do you know what kind of a mod zippo will be for this cup?
This is why wmdb doesn't have user ratings.

The rating is about how he is as a cup moderator, not about how people think he might be in the future.
You're not rating Zippo's personality, you're rating his cup moderating. The karma system is doing a fine job at rating his personality, don't you think?
He simply has not moderated a cup yet, so you're giving your opinion on something that hasn't happened yet. We might as well just remove cup mod rating if that's how things work.

On one hand, I agree with that D1, but I think everyone (including you) has the sense to figure out he will do terribly. Reasons?
1. He doesn't speak English.
2. He doesn't have any kind of experience in such things.
3. Take a look at the cup so far. It's unclear for you whether it is a private cup or a public one, even though it's absolutely clear what his intentions were, so he was simply unable to figure out how to make it private.
4. Take a look at the description. I have nothing to add.
It's true the rating is not supposed to show his personality and such, but that just proves how much people hate him.
By the way, I already told MonkeyIsland and posted this on the forum, that the ratings should only be enabled once a player finished that given cup, so then the ratings would actually mean something, you could even make an average after that.

It's definitely possible, but I suggest rating him as a cup moderator after he's had the chance to mod. The prediction might come true, in which case you can always give him poor ratings or he might end up doing an alright job.

Please rate down Dmitry85 as a mod as well, then. Zippo's english is better than Dmitry's, but they can both manage and I've had several occasions where Dmitry requested a private cup, but called it an open cup, including his latest T17 cup, which recently opened.
Whenever Zippo is involved, people automatically assume the worst and act accordingly. I wasn't asking for much, beer. I was asking for people to be reasonable (http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-september-16-2010/rally-to-restore-sanity) and wait till he's actually done something to rate. But since that post, 7 more people have shown they are not capable of doing so.

i dont care if your the greatest mod in the world, if ur a f@#!ing asshole, u will get graded accordingly.. look at FB, it did not work out cuz kiro was a f@#!ing asshole..

I'm clearly not defending his honor. His karma suggests there would be very little to defend in any case.
I'm asking people to be reasonable and wait until they have something to vote for. If he sucks as this cup's moderator, then by all means, vote 0 for him. But wait till after he's actually done something.
