I know and that's the reason there's a prize. I'm a realist :) Anyway it's nice to have a Roper cup with so many good ropers! A little pressure (-20$) about winning the cup is also nice ;D

The feedback on my T17 cup scheme has been mainly positive (other than Profe's) and some players have accepted it when playing tus. I haven't proposed replacing the tus scheme yet so u never know ;) If the stats from this cup will be as expected, we can happily keep playing a broken scheme knowing there's a fix.

Yeah, it's not nice, but it's necessary.

The extra prize money went up as I was excited to see such a strong lineup of passionate players, and a MOD I thought had a good grasp of things, so I wanted to help out and make it more interesting for those involved.

You removed Kins for a good reason, then for some ridiculous reason you that lazy git back in over yanme who is making a comeback and this would be a great chance for him to get involved again, I already explained why doing this screws up that group, which to me screws up the Cup enough for me to lose interest in adding prize money.

There is a % requirement for players to enter, players with a history of screwing around shouldn't be able to enter serious Cups like this, especially when there are prizes involved.

Kins screwed up quite a few dS Tours in the past so seeing this brings back the frustration.

It's nothing personal man, just don't wish to contribute money to something I don't believe in anymore, sorry, but i'd hate myself more for not doing this.

Why it's not fair? You could just skip attacking when u go 1st, let the other player use his mine and still reach a draw. And if you manage to attack with zooka, the other player needs to sui for a draw or you win. What's idiotic is to give the other player less time for an attack.

Maybe but still when u are first u might get a crate that wont give u enough time to knock so u have to be good at shooting zooka from rope and 2nd player usually gets crate that is easy to get and still have enough time to come back and put mine right on ur head if hide is not sneaky...

In 3 cases a player didn't remember the cup rules and followed TUS rules instead (= no cow). In 2 cases a player attacked with a mine on the first turn although he started the game (he thought he was allowed to use mine cos no delay).

Only KO stage (30 games, Bo3 but in some cases the same player started both games)
