64 Elite Pwnage: Benz and I need to play, it isnt fair that he went through and has played SPW man...
For a start I had no pms about it, live been as activive if not more so than Benz on the league, and people see me in AG most nights lol.
I also actually had to win games against PR to get through to that round, Benz went through by default because his opponant didnt show up.
Nothing against Benz, but this is unfair lol, we need to play, If i win then Benz can go through to the next round as he has already played SPW. If I win then SPW and I must play.
Come on man... they only just reported their games today, and look at my stats ive been active everyday this week, its clear I could have played vs Benz if we'd met or id had pms about it.
You cant have a free round this late in the cup, especially as im one of the most active wormers on tus atm, come man pls

And your activity in league and forums just show your low interest attitude to this cup since you can post 100 times to shit topics or play 100 games with beer etc but you don't even visit cup's page.

Everyone in cup with msn will tell you that i arranged a lot of game in this cup just trying to message guys in msn and to arrange a match between them.
Anyway if global cup admin Darkone could arrange those games vs benz nail and spw

NAiL you are a very respected player to me, but you gotta admit you forgot about the cup. You know when a cup gets long, people starts to say 'TUS Cups sux'
1 which will be true if we don't deal with them. We had much trouble to get you play vs pr and when it came to benz you kinda got disappeared.
Our default is that players check the cup to see their opponent, not wait for a pm to come into their inbox.
I think we should continue the cup the way it is. However for your own peace, we wait for DarkOne. Maybe he shed some light to this as this complain last chance.

Well, I don't know about that, but in my cups, I do encourage that the participants send PMs and I send them myself if people seem inactive :) It's really not that much of an effort to send one when it's clear your opponent doesn't read the forum.
Though of course, NAiL also is at fault for not remembering the cup (as he himself also pointed out)

#16 hysteria 3/3 played.
#18 sheeprace 0/3 played.
#21 elite cup: 2 unplayed games (those opponents apparently disappeared). Knockout: 2/3 played.
#29 bor hysteria private cup: unplayed games: 3/3 in group. waiting for his first knockout game to be played.
#39 intermediate (still going on) 1/4 played. (but this only just started)
In short, the first cups, you definitely played all your games. The later cups, not so much.
Yes, benz didn't send you a PM to get your games played, but then again, neither did you. You can't blame people for negligance if you were also negligant.
Yes, pr didn't send you a PM to get your games played, but he's not obligated to do so. There were also plenty of other people that knew you had to play and none of them sent you a pm, but the truth is that cup games are your own responsibility to finish.
I personally do send out PMs to players to get their games played, sometimes in cups I didn't start (without the actual mod's knowledge - bad D1! bad!) but from looking at previous cups, pr does a fine job with his cups, so I didn't see the need to do anything about his cups :)
After the group phase, I haven't seen a single post of you in the thread, NAiL, even though you clearly knew you were still in the cup. Benz has been active in the thread where you could clearly read it.
So I'm gonna have to go with pr's decision here. If benz is willing to give you an opportunity to play that knockout game, then that would be his decision. You weren't forced to give Devilage another chance either.
You can't blame pr for handing out free wins if his opponents simply aren't there. People get free wins in professional sporting events too, even in late stages (though of course the reason is different)
For future cups, I would strongly advice benz to send PMs to his opponent(s) if he can't find them and I give the same advice to cup moderators who are stuck with a couple of inactive players.

+ PMs only save if you save a copy to outbox, I only just started doing it but if you say I didnt then I'll take your word for it. If mods can check to see if I did send a pm that would be good (because I know we definately talked about arranging games at one point somewhere).
