Title: EAC 2013 - Meeting-Point

You should use this thread to find a date where both, you and your opponent, are available to play your match.

Below are general rules for this tourney and I really recommend reading them at least once before the tourney. Rules that are new this year are highlighted in red.
The rules can be also found at the EAC 2013 rules page (http://www.2013.eac-wa.com/index.php?page=rules).

games / rounds

  • You have to play against each opponent a best-of-5 series; one opponent per week.
  • You have to play all your games in the channel #PartyTime.
  • The host has to set up the cup mode (best-of-five) in the scheme.
  • If both players want to host, make a rehost after 2 games, and so on.
  • Standard Elite-Scheme must be used in every game.
  • Only "Island Maps" are allowed to play.
  • No maps from map-packs allowed, only new maps made then and there with the editor.
  • Using any cheats or glitches are forbidden. Also "fastwalking" aren't allowed.
  • About knocking with rope/bungee: #pt: allowed! #ag: not allowed! Play your games at #pt.
  • You are not allowed to change your team weapon during a match! For further matches you may switch if you want.
  • It is not allowed to play manipulative in any way, especially it is forbidden to lose rounds on purpose because of the predcition game.

reporting, ranking & complaints

  • EAC 2013 Homepage (http://www.eac-wa.com/)
  • Winner Report. Just click on "Report" and fill out the table. All replays must be uploaded in the right order.
  • You will find current standings and all replays and the prediction game there too.
  • For all complaints please use THIS (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/ea-championship-2013/eac-2013-complaint-area-20665/) thread or sned a PM to the moderators.

judges

  • The Judges are Random00 and SPW.

deadline / challenges

  • You will have one opponent per week to play a best-of-five challenge.
  • Deadline for each round will be every Sunday, 20:00 / 08:00 pm GMT.
  • Organize a date with your opponent as fast as possible to get the games done. Use this thread to make your date or send a TUS PM to your opponent and send a copy to one of the moderators. We will take this as a reference if some problems are coming up with a match. Also you may use any other clients you like (e.g. msn, icq, mIRC, WormNet) to contact your opponent. For the proof, we maybe ask you to show some sreenshot in case a match-up isn't played in time.
  • If your games couldn't be played until the deadline, the judges will decide what is going to happen. At first we check the "Meeting-Point-Thread" and PMs, then any other media.
  • No game should be played before the matchday has started. Only exception to this rule is if the moderators explicitly tell you to play beforehand.

Only a fair match is a good match :)

Hey chuvash, I'm available Friday through Sunday, I'd prefer a time in the afternoon, preferably so that we finish until 5-6 GMT because I'm most likely to go out to some parties, concerts on the weekend, but that's most likely tomorrow, not Saturday or Sunday. Sooo, any suggestions? :)

Oh, by the way, I didn't mention I'm in GMT+2 (for the summer), you are in GMT+4, as you told me. How does Saturday 16 GMT sound? That's 18 for me, even with long matches I can go out afterwards, 20 for you,  I don't know if you have any plans, feel free to tell me I'm an asshole for only planning for myself. :D :D

Please dont start games and contact your next opponent via this thread before the deadline is reached. All posts before the deadline will get deleted. It would cause a lot irriation in the topic. Round by round is just better. Thank you.

Just a tip: make a separate thread for each matchday. :) Then this thread doesn't get huge and it's easy to find what you are looking for. Finished and not yet started threads can be locked so that also gives you a good overview.

@Ray (and followers); not the right place to talk about suggestions. Besides I dont wanna change it and prefer one topic for all matchdays. Too much fuzz making all week a  new topic right at the deadline. We didnt have any problem last year with same system. Just focus on your games, you are not a moderator. seba, excuse me but i was in AG just 3 mins before u arrived, big AW...
anyway, im in an unexpected holidays in a far village without cybers or some wiFI, i have to walk 2 kms to connect my notebook in the only one WIFI station cyber coffee there... pff

these days i have car and can go to next city to play our matches then lets arrange game to play 11th July at 16:00 GMT ( pm if u cant ) btw ( if admins let us to play, big TY )

i can play my 2nd match too in these days, let me know when u can play mister Devilage

Would Sunday work for you? My mouse broke and Im going back to home on Sunday where I have my old mouse.

22GMT is kind of late for me  too. 20-21GMT would be better.

Let me know about the Sunday if it works 100%, if your not totally sure, we should agree on earlier date, maybe I can borrow a mouse if needed.

You should be more committed, this is EAC we are talking about.</irony> :) Sure thing, my weekend seems to be free, except from Sunday afternoon, so like Sunday 3-4GMT, family visiting. But the whole Saturday seems to be free, so we can work something out, no problem.

I'm not happy at all with the activity and sick of doing a pending game list with 7 open matchups! I hope that a lot of games get played at Sunday. Otherwise I have to think about consequences. Mostly it needs two guys for causing delays. The problem guys are known and I appreciate to all others for wasting time by waiting.

Games with lales involved will get some more days if needed. He's still not at home but still its possible to make a date with him.

Deadline comes closer and I will be much stronger if this inactivity continues.

We decided to kick seBa from eac2013. He didn't play a single game in 3 weeks and missed two dates with JohnMcClane who patiently waited while having other dates as well.
You might have noticed the impact on the schedule: We have 1 less game every matchday, which means that everyone will have 1 matchday where he doesn't have a game.

There may always be reasons to miss a date (it can even happen that you just forget about it). But I believe we're all mature enough to show some responsibility and take dates seriously. I don't wanna blame everyone that they're lazy, because the majority did a good job so far. It's just a little remainder, that everyone (especially SPW and me ;) ) is happier, if the tournament is running smoothly ^^

I dont like the way either you go when doing some dates. Its often not clear enough and neither reliable. You are under view and if its not change, you could be the next who leaves EAC. You still didnt play lales yet. I did play him so this shows, its possible when taking everything a little bit more serious. We didnt want to kick seBa, neither you. But if you dont give us any other possibilities, we have to do it.

Its up to you. lales can play until tuesday almost every hour as he posted. And its also easy to find a time with Free - if you want!

The match between JohnMcClane and Crash standing 2:1 so far. After check the replay the case is clear enough.

Besides Crash gets a warn cause of that behaviour. Respect EAC games as high as other near peson. You have a game with a REAL human and not a bloody puppy. So excuses about "girlfriend" or "friends etc." we dont accept at all. This is not even close to an emergency.

Your date confirmed by both: Sunday 28th, 20:00 GMT. Dont miss it, this is like a true date. If you fail, lets guess..

For all guys which making little bit problems or drama etc. Just check how guys like franz, Almog, Random00 etc. act. Those are your heroes! This is EAC, just keep it wonderful, respectful and clear.  :)

We didnt finish, Mablak had to go. Its also my fault since I had the wrong time in my head (20 gmt). So the problem wasnt even the winter time.  :-X

But Mablak was still there and we played 4 games, 2:2 so far and for last we need to make a new date now. If its impossible during the weekdays we have to arrange it at the weekend.
