EAC 2015 - Meeting-Point

Please use this thread to find a date where both, you and your opponent, are available to play your weekly match.

Below are general rules for this tourney and I really recommend reading them at least once before the tourney. There are no new rules so last years are still latest.
The rules can be also found at the EAC 2015 rules page (http://2015.eac-wa.com/index.php?page=rules).

games / rounds

  • You have to play against each opponent a best-of-5 series; one opponent per week.
  • You have to play all your games in the channel #PartyTime.
  • The host has to set up the cup mode (best-of-five) in the scheme.
  • If both players want to host, make a rehost after 2 games, and so on.
  • Standard Elite-Scheme must be used in every game.
  • Only "Island Maps" are allowed to play.
  • No maps from map-packs allowed, only new maps made then and there with the editor.
  • Using any cheats or glitches are forbidden. Also "fastwalking" isn't allowed.
  • About knocking with rope/bungee: #pt: allowed! #ag: not allowed! Play your games at #pt.
  • You are not allowed to change your team weapon during a match! For further matches you may switch if you want.
  • It is not allowed to play manipulative in any way.

reporting, ranking & complaints

  • EAC 2015 Homepage (http://eac-wa.com/)
  • Winner Report. Just click on "Report" and fill out the table. All replays must be uploaded in the right order.
  • You will find current standings and all replays there.
  • For all complaints please use THIS (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/ea-championship-2015/eac-2015-complaint-area-27643//) thread or send a PM to BOTH moderators.

judges

  • The Judges are Random00 and SPW.

deadline / challenges

  • You will have one opponent per week to play a best-of-five challenge.
  • Deadline for each round will be every Sunday, 20:00 / 08:00 pm GMT.
  • Organize a date with your opponent as fast as possible to get the games done. Use this thread to make your date or send a TUS PM to your opponent and send a copy to BOTH of the moderators. We will take this as a reference if some problems are coming up with a match. For the proof, we maybe ask you to show some sreenshot in case a match-up isn't played in time.
  • If your games couldn't be played until the deadline, the judges will decide what is going to happen. At first we check the "Meeting-Point-Thread" and PMs, then screens
  • No game should be played before the matchday has started. Only exception to this rule is if the moderators explicitly tell you to play beforehand.

Only a fair match is a good match :)

Just about, I was in New Zealand and returned on Wednesday 2nd and mods knew this. Its taken me a while to get back to normal after the 44 hour journey across 3 long haul flights and 11 hour time difference/jet lag  :o

But I can play Tuesday 10:00pm until 05:00am GMT, as soon as the mods are ok with it and allow you to bypass the deadline.

See this post as a chance to improve your matchmaking from now on. Otherwise, we have to consider kicking you from the tournament, but rest assured: this is not something we wanna do.

Hey guys, I have talked with Spoon and I would like to step in to explain a few things, hopefully it still matters:

1) There's a common mistake of Israeli people to confuse AM/PM times. When Spoon said 2:30 he obviously meant 14:30. I explained him that now anyway.

2) Regarding Kalue:
Apparently they met on Sunday around 15GMT and tried to play a game while Kaleu was at work. Then he left because he had to go (I imagine work, I am not blaming him). I also assume after he left, he thought they would meet the next day on 2:30GMT. But as far as it goes with Spoon, he didn't understand why he left and that it was excpeted of him to meet at 2:30GMT becaues like I said it he thought of it as 14:30.

So that's what happend (and I'm not judging... just trying to make things more clear).

3) Regarding Master:
Master sent Spoon this PM: "hi, can you say when can you play? ::)"
Spoon did reply: Wendeday 15-18GMT

However, he didn't CC the PM to the mods. I also explained that to him now.

4) I also explained him how I arrange games, and I hope he will do it like me. He will suggest all his times in PMs and after the date is settled he will post here (forums) the date and time both parties had agreed upon. I also asked him to CC the mods.

Thanks for your reply, Almog. It's not a problem if one or two dates don't work out as they were planned to be.
It's just important that we as the moderators know what's going on. And sending a copy of PMs to us will certainly help.

So, I note Wednesday, 16:00 GMT as the agreed match date for Kaleu vs. Spoon_head. Also, please arrange a date with MaStEr with new times as I think Wednesday 15-18 GMT will be tough regarding your play time with Kalue ;)

Csongi is right there. Dont contact him! Its his part to get in contact with you. He has 6 pending games and he got a last deadline before we have to do the final action. So just relax. Next sunday we will do the final decision.

Also I dont like the mobile phone way. He has to check at least pm's and the meeting thread. If he dont change anything, nobody can help him anymore.

I assumed everyone has whataspp today. Apparently I was wrong, but I'd guess he also has viber. Did you try viber? I suppose not, because it's Spoon's duty to make a contact.

Thats the main deadline for all pending matches so use that time to get your games done. Contact your opponents as soon as possible to get a quick date. From today, there are almost 2 weeks time to get it played (including Matchday #17).

The very last deadline will be the 10th January 2016. All open games on that date will get void! So the official end of EAC 2015 will be the 10th of January 2016.

Edit: You may play your last round matches earlier if you and your opponent want to.

Im a bit dissapointed regarding the last matchday. Sure, all other open games with Ray involved are no problem and we cant do anything there. But, in the last round I miss also other matches that should be done already. Maybe we will give a last deadline to get those games done (except Ray games). I'll talk with Random. In the meantime, just play your open games if its possible until next sunday.

First of all, I apologize. I shouldn't have let you guys down. My entire life has been a complete utter mess in the past weeks, months. I thought I had been working a lot before... I was wrong. Other personal issues also came on surface which lead to me plugging my entire computer out altogether and packing it away (did not happen in about 15 years before that). i went to play football at 20:30 and i just came back ... i always return 1 and half hour after match end...

Thank you everyone for the quick manner in which we could finish our games!

One thing though, I played style, but he has not reported our games yet. I am attaching the replays here, perhaps Random00 can upload them? Final score was 3-0 for style.
