Hey, King-Gizzard! You're great to make custom Terrains.

Have you tried the Egypt Terrain by ARTemych and the Candy Terrain? I believe that the Soil and the Back sprites are missing. Maybe you can make a upgraded version of those Terrains with the missing sprites, what do you think?

P.S.: I'm looking for a Sprite Editor tutorial.

Yeah, they're great terrains.  It's probably not worth it for those details but Egypt is ARTemych's work (and possibly SiD's as well) so you would need to speak to them.

I've redone the background on this: larger 2-layer/parallax mountains (wkTerrainSync feature), plus larger asteroids with higher FPS

Thanks!  I've just updated again (last time, promise ;D) - Nizikawa suggested a way to add more colours for the background. It's now much cleaner looking with less dithering.

I do love this terrain but a question: Can you release a version without the planets /imagery in the terrain?

It would be straight forward to remove them but you'd just be left with a flat blue colour for the terrain, if that's what you mean.

I may just be representative of mere 0.1% to request this heh. The terrain looks good already, but sometime there is a thought in my head ''How would this look without the planets on the terrain?''. It doesn't have to be plain blue, maybe keep those stars that are already there? Maybe make it look like undergroundish? Rocks and pebbles perhaps? Or maybe something form of a constellation of stars or something. Although, now it starts to sound like a new terrain request now. Well, something to think about I guess. Whatever you choose, np.  :)

Next step is Kradie asking for a ZaR terrain. Bazooka varied art objects, varied ninja rope art objects, mini roper map objects and on the main land written infinitely "join ZaR community and support our lord Kradie".

I'm not entirely sure what FoxHound problem is with me. But whatever it may be, I don't think this is the right place for it. I suggest taking it elsewhere or PM.

@ King-Gizzard, to clarify, there's nothing wrong with your terrain. I just hope you don't take offense of my subtle musing impression. Perhaps it could be a source of inspiration, that's all. If you see it as otherwise, I apologize. I respect your work you do for the community :)

Me and Kradie did change the background texture after all. But the colors obviously not exactly the same so might not work with some objects because of the color limit. I also cannot extract asteroids debris.spr, is there a way to do it?

The original texture uses nearly half of the palette which most of the 32 terrain objects share, so there won't be much room for new colours.   I've attached the full 113 colour palette file for the terrain (112 + transparency).   If you force your new texture to remap to that palette, all objects and background etc will work perfectly.

I was also curious if it's possible to extract asteroids debris.spr. I've used the old ones from the TERRAIN GUIDE FILES before for breaking bad crystal meth look. I wonder if I can't extract it because SpriteEditor doesn't extract terrains made with it properly.

And btw, I wonder if text.img icon counts toward the color limit?

You can extract to PNG using SpriteEddy: https://worms2d.info/SpriteEddy (https://worms2d.info/SpriteEddy)   You'd then need to create the .spd with the frames and dimensions.  I've attached all of the files to save you the trouble.

The Text.img icon is separate to the terrain, it's only used in the land generator screen, max of 17 colours (including transparency)
