First of all, they will not delete a game based on this. A game can be declared void if it is finished with an illegal shot.
Non of you asked Gonzo to move. AlbtrauM attacked him too. Gonzo probably does not know these rules, about what distance he has to be, I am pretty sure he doesn't care either.
The only reason you want this game deleted is because you lost and because of how you lost. AlbtrauM was cheap so why could I not be, protest for better rules for the scheme instead or try having them changed with a four-month discussion in a different topic.

Follow the rules mods must delete this game, and yeah, I couldn't complain if we won, it's obvious, lol, but mods always want to keep game until finish, and even if he didn't know this rule, it doesn't explain him, and still you knew it.
and btw, Ropz did just only one 4 sec shot with max power and after you called this cheap he stopped. Lame were you with your rolling 4 sec.

If in the time of the close distance no serious damage was done, we would keep the game. But 45hp was done by a zook shot in the close distance. Giving 45hp back to ps, it makes the game even so I'll be voiding this game.
On the side,
- It could help more if CF "cared" a bit. (Referring to "I don't know, I don't care to be honest" and "then make a complain..")
- Maciej you're warned for being a jerk in the game.
MonkeyIsland, you should be warned for calling Maciej a jerk. If they refused to shoot from the same distance and Gonzo would have shot, I'd say okay, but this is just pathetic. I thought a group like your could manage a league well, but apparently not. Not to mention that you needed two and a half weeks to come up with this nonsense.

Monkey, you can't warn someone for being a jerk in the game, because it's your opinion, unless you are going to personally watch EVERY game and warn EVERY person who acts like a jerk during a game, which is pretty much half of TuS, and if you warn half of TuS, you gonna get stabbed 40 times like Caesar...

You are defending for CF, not objectively looking at the game. If your opponent break a rule, you continue the game while mentioning they did break that rule. That is always our advice. Maciej always was a guy who was trying to find a hole in the rules. This time he acted by the book. He mentioned Gonzo's distance
before Gonzo make the shot and continued the game. Also I wouldn't void the game if the difference of HPs were a lot that 45hp wouldn't make a difference. But in this case it would make things even.

However, back to your statement, I tolerate people's behavior and I do believe in second chances and third chances. But beside that I keep history of people. As I once mentioned this to avirex, when you see a wall or building falls apart, you shouldn't look for what was the last push, the wall or building could be under pressure in years. With Maciej, his history is full enough. If it was a new guy in the league, I would probably just ignore it as his very first reaction.
So people call me soft when I pass on punishments, but when I act on their history, I get to be biased? damn that vein is not popping from my forehead :-*

#AG is not my territory. Request granting #AG privileges from DC, CS or whoever is in charge of that, I'll expand the rules into #AG too.
I am looking at this objectively, here is what happened:
18:17 - Gonzo teleports to a hide which is close to Roperz, violation of rules.
18:35 - Maciej, the player having the worm that is far enough, shoots a bazooka, aiming at Gonzo. Note that at this point, non of ps members mentioned anything about Gonzo being too close, in fact, they continued playing.
Another two turns go by, we are back to Gonzo, who has no wind. One more thing to note, the conversation between Maciej and Roperz:

This shows that neither of the sides were clear with that exact rule.
20:12 - Maciej attacks Gonzo's worm again, opening up his hide. Still
no effort, no direct approach regarding that he should move. If they say: "well that must be too close, teleport away please" he would have done that.
20:49 - Roperz attack Gonzo. Even though he was too close to him, he did try and attack.
Then Gonzo ends up hitting - suddenly it becomes an issue.
The fact that both of them did try to attack Gonzo's worm means they were okay with continuing the game. Making it an issue after getting hit is just a cheap way of trying to avoid losing points.
And saying that the game would have been balanced without that 45HP is absolutely stupid, you can't tell what would have happened in that game, that's absolutely unwise and an amateur thing basing a decision on that as a moderator.
I am looking at it objectively, that is what happened, you must have looked at some different replays or I don't know.
They continued the game.

Funny how you made a decision that everyone disagrees with, even those not involved. Must have been a tough one to crack.
i agree with monkeys and the mods (that should be a band hauha)
maciej did the right thing, told gonzo he was breaking a rule, asked him to move...
gonzo said he did not care, and to make a complaint....
what should maciej have done next? finish the game and make a complaint...
obviously if he won, there is no need for a complaint... but he didnt, and i dont blame him for wanting it void.
monkey and the mods made the right choice... and i have not seen monkeyisland make any extreme or totally unjust bans, warns, or mutes... he has a big roll to play, and i doubt anyone else here wants to play it.. so why does everyone give him so much shit?? cut the guy some slack, he is doing an excellent job.
I stand by MI's decision.
A rule was broken even tho it was only for a couple of turns .. however 45 damage was recieved from this. No penetly of a self hit by CF was taken and also with the low levels of hp at the end of the game it played a role in the out come of this result.
ps asked CF to move and they said how they don't care and to make a complaint which maciej did after he carried on playing..
Maciej was warned for his attitude which was sour to say the least.. he was rather unsporting to raise a complaint here and also had a poor attitude towards the mods in the way that he asked us to judge this game..
Half a screen distance is a vague term as depending on your res it will vary, i even said to mods how we need a clear definition of the close teleport. In previous leagues we had 2 grider lengths or even 2 movements of grenade with 4sec full power. This can be raised in a seperate thread if players feel free to do so.
