Yesterday, when I looked:
CF were 1st with +3 streak and 6709 points
cFc were 2nd with +10 streak and 6708 points
Now todday:
CF were 1st with +3 streak and 6712 points
cFc were 2nd with +10 streak and 6703 points
Can someone explain whats going on please?
MI performed a re-count
husk, you suck, thats what I wanted to write ;d
A lot of ratings changed, but the changes were quite small, heh ;d
Ah right cool :)
I am guessing this is for games reported in the wrong order etc?
Yes, it recounts the points because of reordered and deleted games.
I guess MI will recode this in tus2 so it'll be done automaticaly on the fly (hint ;)).
Actually the order script changes points accordingly as expected.
When recount happens, some accounts get merged into one (like ATOM's 3 accounts), that's where changing points happen. :)
While we're talking about account merges, why didn't XP get merged with rOx when all the players went from clan XP to rOx? :P
how does the system knows which of the games reported was played first ? :|
File creation date?
@darKz,
I think it is different clan-wise. Also it was a "move" than a merge like FUB and bOr. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
@Almog,
TUS considers the time the games are reported on TUS.
@CMV,
File creation date won't work because as far as I know we have different times on our systems and that will be a problem.
I love how you have total control over everything MI xD Can't beat a boss who knows exactly what he's doing :)
MI I think you're wrong, it was a merge. If every player of clan A leaves their clan and all of them join the same clan B, then that's a merge imho. And since XP actually played several games this season, the merge would possibly make a difference for the playoff-spots..

Yah, that's why a merge would actually lower rOx' points by a little bit and maybe decide over playoff-spots.. In my opinion a merge would've been logical there, but maybe it's too late/unfair now..
I'm gonna be back soon, been playing a lot of SC2. :)
@ darKz, actually the most guys from xP went to rOx, but a few went to GrW ( DJ-m4ri0, vad0 )
But even if xP is rOx now, points should not change imo.

Isn't the time stamp from Wormnet server saved in the replay files?
Inside the replay file, possible. Haven't checked that. I was referring to the replay file name.

The replayfiles are saved as gmt+0 (on my pc), so I guess it doesnt matter which time is shown on ur pc, it calculates all to gmt+0?! :)
If the system checked the file name for the date and time, people could cheat easily by renaming their replays.
