Title: [SOLVED] DoubleTime again.
Post by: TheKomodo on September 28, 2011, 05:06 AM
For those who don't know the story:

DoubleTime was using my name asking for TuS and played some TuS Leagues 2 days ago, unfortunately he was not caught in time and therefor Peja reported a BnG against me and Savage a Hysteria, fortunately I managed to warn r3sp3ct and guuria and a few others in time not to play because it isn't the real me.

Obviously this is against Rules and will not/should not be tolerated, I say "should not" because right now it looks like the MODs have let DoubleTime away with it, they have not acted according to the Rules.

Why isn't DoubleTime banned? Why does he appear to have special treatment? Can a MOD actually ANSWER the question this time please?

Your "Rules" state aliasing follows a ban:

"Noone may use alias and ask for league games under alias or claim one's Cup or Tourney game under alias. Getting caught with aliasing results banning (at the moderators discretion)."

Why hasn't he been banned for aliasing me? I will continue to ask this until the question has been answered, or some light shun apon it, you cannot just ignore me, isn't it a MODs duty to protect other players account/statistics?

Please do not send Rok to type "Grr" and close the thread, that is completely unprofessional, ignorant and a mockery of your so called "Rules", and makes your complaint system and level of professionalism look like a joke.

I have a right to have this question answered, you KNOW that.

I swear I am not "having a go" at MODs, I am honestly concerned and feel very unfairly treated as a victim.

You bother typing these many lines explaining how moderators must act and how everything should be.
How about putting your effort on the proof you're relying against doubletime?

Although we trust KRD and know he wouldn't lie about something like this, we can't just take someones word on anything, not because they don't lie, because they "can/could" lie as a human, they are capable, therefor a mans word can't be a form of proof.

But I thought they would have at least investigated KRD's post, follow up, or something.

I missed KRD's post somehow. I'll talk to him.

I notified you about KRD's post through PM, MI, I think it was yesterday or the day before? Read them! :)

Komo, you just don't get the hint, do you? I closed the other thread for the same reasons I closed that game comments thread (for which you even thanked me).
You know the announcement (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/complaints/regarding-ban-threads/ (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/complaints/regarding-ban-threads/)) and don't tell us that not saying "ban him" directly makes a difference, because it doesn't.

Use the damn PMs for such things.

What hint? The other thread was different, this is more serious for starters, and the other one was just arguing, and I don't think it's suitable to just write "Grr." and close the thread without even giving me an idea on what the MODs are doing to handle this, I am not arguing with anyone, I am a concerned player of TuS asking serious questions, I am not the only person concerned about what's happened in the last 2 days, the rules concern every individual who is part of TuS and plays competitively.

And now thanks to this thread, I see MI is going to take next-steps, which imo is a good outcome, my question has been answered (is there an ongoing investigation?) the answer obviously now, yes.

I have been sending MI a few PM's, mostly explaining this isn't just some rampage against DoubleTime, that I am actually concerned.

So thanks, eventually :)

why the hell cant dt post here... is completely ridiculous. Unmute the guy ffs so this can be sorted out sooner.

He can post as much as he likes in the shoutbox so just let him post in the forums again.

I am losing my faith in tus seriously... unmute the guy... stop being so f@#!ing stupid.

We had this problem before when accusations are flying around yet the person in question has to resort to posting over again in the shoutbox... LET THE GUY POST HERE 4 f@#!S SAKE! so dumb... really... so dumb..

god... it is SO DUMB... I really need to emphasise how DUMB it is. DUMBDUMBDUMB. ITS DUMB.

lol komo seriously your ruining the last of doubletimes reputation here, so pls stop this. im pretty sure he is innocent.

1st: theres is no need to do this for him, yeah doubletime really liked you.he would have reasons to alias a lot of guys, but defitnitly not you.

2nd: if doubletime would alias, it would be really better then this, he is to intelligent for this bullshit.

you already should think about an really good way to say sorry if he speaks the truth.

there is a reason why ban topics are forbidden and you really would do yourself an favor if you stop this senseless witchhunt.

So, to elaborate on why nothing has happened yet: MI was not around and hasn't checked with KRD yet. Nobody likes to ban people on base of false assumptions. That's it, no conspiracies or anything.

We're not always super fast with bans and complaints, I'll admit, but we eventually take care of it, I believe. So we will in this case, too, I assure you. We'll also let you know about the decision, ok?

Now Dave (we appreciate your concerns, btw), can we close this topic before trolls take over?

Excuse me, what do you mean I am ruining his reputation, I do not control his mind body and soul, I do not have control of what he does with his life, he done it, not me.

This isn't a "ban him" thread, I thought I made that clear already, fair enough you can spend your life assuming the wrong thing, what does it matter to me lol?

Rok, yeah go ahead, and thanks.
