First of all, this is not a ''complaint'', i just want to be cleared with a bng rule, today we were playing a bng clanner vs dt, the first turn was took by avi, so he placed almost on the middle of the map, and i took also close to the middle, (i don't like when players try to steal our side on the map) and well ... to sum up lol i started atacking him as usual in bng i try to hit the guy who im seeing little more dangerous ... however, avi told me this is not allowed, i couldn't hit him cuz i was ''too close'' to him, he told me i must hit the guy who is far, so i don't know about this ... here i will attach the replay to see ''the fight'' xD
i've played alot of bng clanners and ive never thought about this rule, so i want a MOD clear me this D;
EDIT: lol now that i check the replay haha i didn't see avi claiming me xDD, i just follow daina's order xD haha

Distance was fine, if anything avi should be banned on google for teleporting in the middle of the map first and then whining at the enemy team for being too close, like if there was any other option rofl. Other than that, obviously map is shitty and -Forest.
Does bng scheme even have any rules on tus? I fail to find any. Anyway, when it comes to distance, 2v2 should be treatened differently than 1v1. But then i dont think there ever was any proper rule for first turn placement other than common sense and "teleport on your half".

Well, who am i kidding, avirex autistic? That would put you on top in some cases, you are just a moron. But once we are there, tell me, wheres the rule for first turn placement? On a map like this, its more like trolling to put yourself in a hide close to the middle and calling your opponent for being distant less than 1/3 of the map in a 2v2.
If you are going to outsmart me and still fail to realize the obvious, imagine 1v1 with the half of the map distance "official rule", first turn gets the middle and second turn gets the latest bit of the terrain coz tactics, thats the most basic example i could give you, game is hard.
If anything, first turn should be granted less options, not more. Check Hearthstone.

here is my opinion on 2v2 bng, and its just an opinion, so before anyone who has no business here wants to attack, keep in mind, your not a mod, or involved in the game.. so stfu :D
you should obviously tele on your side of the map.. which everyone in this game did...

were me and roperz too close to eachother? yes...
in the case of that happening, your simply play by the rules, and you dont attack the worm you are (according to rules) to close to...
thats why i was ONLY attacking dainub...
sbaffo, and dainub were far enough way to attack either worm, but me and roperz were too close to each other to attack one another, and should have been attacking the farther worm (as i was doing)
Lets throw the entire rule book out the window (since lactose cant find the rules anyway) lets say there was not a specific rule about distance... if you can throw a half power 2 second nade at your opponent, your most likely too close... you should move (thats my opinion)
tbh: i think the rules should be abolished... bng would be much more fun with no rules, and would solve a lot of bitching... its very rare to play a full bng game, without some kind of dispute, or complaint, the rules are too vague, and there are too many loopholes, and just unfair situations... this being a perfect example (some say my tele was too close.. but it was not breaking any rules)
so if we ever wanna see the day of competitive bng, with less complaints... NRBNG is the answer.

I think the rules should do a better job to cover for all this asshole situations.
So when the times come the assholes get an actual tangible punishment other than being shown as assholes (which apparently ain't a big deal for them, nor is using the rules for showing total lack of sportmanship as if that wasn't ironic by itself)

What's wrong with just having the rules say you have to stay on your half of the map, regardless of how many worms there are on each side? It's a rule that can be followed easily, covers every situation, makes intuitive fairplay sense and allows players to choose, to a degree, whether they want to play mini BnG or long range BnG. It's not like one of the two is by definition easier than the other anyway, it all depends on the hides and the shape of the (hopefully random, varied and well seeded with objects) map.

Ya i dont see a big deal in mini bng, just there should be some border you cant cross, at least 2 long girders and sticking to your half of the map. 2 worms standing on 2 sides of the tree feels silly in a league bng.
