you guys broke a rule, and made up your own penalties.... and decided when you would and would not take them...
then when sd comes and its time for wxw, you guys dont do a wxw turn, and just hide..... too bad your hide was in a fd spot while you only had 2 health...
of course i was gonna knock ya.. gg's

w:a got the best community of every game i've played, like really far better than all other games, but his behaviour is just the same as people behaviour in other games, and i don't like it.
When i play clanners, i do my best to win because it's a challenge for me and i'm a competitor.But between losing a game or winning by cheap my choice is quickly done.
And when people cheap to win, i just don't play with them anymore, coz this is not what w:a is.
knocking is fair at any time, just like in shopper and in wxw. not lame.
I can understand the frustration though, since it happened on the last turn and won the game, but at any other time in the game it would be no big deal. choose your hides carefully in roper guys :)

I don't even agree with this. If anytime in a game someone just knock me to deal damage, then just go take his crate without any hope of attacking me i'll tell him it's lame. So the fact that he killed us like this is 100X more lame.
Same for shoppa and wxw.
I agree with franz, knock can be done before the actual turn to make it easier to attack later. If your worm got more hp, then avi could do the same and touch the walls next.. nothing lame. If knock kills, then it's your fault lol. Real lame thing = take a good hide without touching walls ;)
There's no rule against it and I don't think there ever has been, so it's not lame. Knocking doesn't count as attacking.

One of the thrills of competitions and serious games is that you know your opponent is trying his best to beat you. "Cheaping and laming" is your opponent desperate move to win. cope with it :)

Flori, in a sense, think about this.
You hid without doing WxW for 2 possible reasons, 1 being it's high risk to achieve this and attack because you might fall and die with fall damage, and the 2nd being avi may possibly fall during his next turn making it easy for you to attack, now, there is no rule stating you are not allowed to do this, although most people would look at it as being a bit of a cowards tactic.
Avi knocked you and killed you without doing WxW, for the same reason as it would be high risk to achieve it and attack without falling therefor probably losing the game, and as there is no rule about knocking a worm before collecting a crate or doing WxW, it would be a stupid thing to risk this, so he just done the fall damage and won the game.
Neither of you wanted to lose, both of you done something "lame" but legal to try and win, avi's "lame" but legal tactic worked better than yours, that's really all there is to it.
Couldn't you both just accept you were as bad (or good) as each other, and let this one slip?

I would say, in a different way, in shoppa when someone block you with petrol he takes advantage of your hide and use his weapon in a smart way. In this case, he tooks advantage of your hide.

Ps blocked me resulting in me not making an attack, mm asked that they get crate and do not attack...they refused the following turn.. There was arguement, the ps decided a 2 second penalty would be fine after some easy ass crate fell...
So not only did you guys decide what exactly you penalty should be, but what turn yoi would decide to take it.
So whos lame?
Btw: chech out a near perfect zook i did towards the end when i was in 2v1 it was after a very hard crate...im on cellphone so cant give time, but it owned :D
