Title: Game #195262, reported by Senator
Post by: Senator on July 24, 2015, 11:50 AM
Twiddle thinks we got an advantage after TOMT dropped and got mad about it so I wanna clarify the situation.

17:39 replay time:
Dead's (184hp) turn, TOMT dropped. TOMT's turn would have been next. Because TOMT (49hp) dropped, Dead tried to attack Twiddle (48hp) instead but fell close to Twiddle. After that Twiddle got a crate and a 1v1 situation with 68hp against 204hp.

If TOMT had not dropped, the game would have gone this way:

Dead attacks TOMT and goes to top hide -> 2hp left for TOMT
TOMT gets +20 -> 22hp
Dead attacks Twiddle -> 1hp left
Twiddle gets +20 -> 21hp
Dead kills Twiddle/TOMT
Twiddle/TOMT gets +20 -> 41/42hp
Dead kills Twiddle/TOMT

Do others think we got an advantage and the game should be replayed? I think it was fair after Dead failed to attack Twiddle. Twiddle agreed to continue playing 1v1 but got mad after he lost :-X

I knew you were going to post about this, was just a matter of time instead of just taking your win and moving on. Reason your posting about it is because you know I'm right but you always claim to be the one with more knowledge.

Anyways; Dead fell once in that roper before the lagout. TOM had 49 hp, I had 48. TOM lagged out before Dead started his turn, therefore making his attack focused on me which he didn't even pull it off. Second, if TOM was still in game, what makes you think Dead would hit the attack and not mess up? even if that were the case since you assume your teammate is a god... What if he didn't pull off a 47-48 damage mine? That leaves TOM with health, ESPECIALLY if dead didn't get an attack off. Also, it increases the chance of a 1v1 a lot more by letting whoever was not being attacked to gain health to have a chance in a 1v1. What if dead would have happened to get a difficult crate and not able to attack anyone? You can't make assumptions in a video games future outcome nor can you make assumptions about your future life or anyone's dude, you just sound really... well... stupid when you do that to be honest.

Any  normal person would agree that it should have been replayed with handicaps, since you claim "you had the advantage 2v1 so why not?

And for the record buddy, I don't care about losing. I have about 100 games lost this season in 1v1s and don't care, why? Cause I just came back to this game, and... to top it off, it's just a game but what I do care about is.... someone who is thick headed and thinks he's always right and pulls a win in a cheap disorderly fashion, without even considering the fact that the possible outcome of the game could be way different if he were to not have dropped.

Please, get over yourself. As stated, I knew you were going to bring up a soap opera about this. I let it go already, but since you insisted on bringing it back up, I decided to give you my input once again. You're like a little kid, one thing someone says to you, you relay it to your mom aka the forums for everyone to see, grow up.

Chippy means business, bitches.

Comes from the komo/old sfx school of "wall of text" guerrilla warfare.

Do not attempt to argue.

Now explain how this relates to your argument about the advantage we got from TOMT's drop. You argued that 2vs1 would have led to better 1vs1 situation than u got after TOMT dropped and Dead failed to attack u (68hp vs 204hp).

[slk-Twiddle] my point is, if he didn't lag out, one of us was going to gain momentum/health
[slk-Twiddle] and force it into a nice 1v1 game
[slk-Twiddle] opposed to him dropping and it going 1v1 with me at low health

First your reasoning was that Dead was gonna attack u anyway and TOMT would have had 69hp at the next turn (u didn't realize he went after u only coz TOMT dropped before his turn). Now your reasoning is "Dead could have failed to attack". You tell me not to make assumptions but u make assumptions yourself. You could have got a better 1vs1 situation only if Dead had failed like his next two turns. And u call this an advantage and a cheap win? :D
