[TdCxSenator] and random mines!
[TdCxKorydex] cos hhc loves cr8s :)
[Komito`TdC] Mines are random???
[TdCxSenator] ye
[Komito`TdC] I thought they were all 3s
[Komito`TdC] That's 2 changes that should be enforced instantly then

Saw Aerial being played so I sneaked-peaked chat to determine which version you're using..
There's an Aerial scheme with 3sec mines, sudden death and weapons quantity customized to be appropriate for competitive play. Scheme is out for 5-6 years now and tested thoroughly on #ag ever since... Community seems to be enjoying it lot more than the original version..
Not trying to take away anything from HHC, but original Aerial scheme is not suited for a competitive play and that's a fact.  Tried numerous times to get the other one become a main league scheme, but it doesn't seem things around here change very often. Bummer.

3s mines would be much better I think. As long as it's stable though as to introduce more tactics and stategy and less luck. that's a step in the right direction.

Though even still having mines and barrels in any scheme introduces a lot of luck, I personally think competitive schemes should have barrels and mines completely off, then again there are too many people who like the unpredictablitity and excitement of RNG factors like mines and barrels. It does introduce some clutch gameplay moments, though frustating and helpless when your worms all spawn next to these objects and other teams don't.

Also, crates dropping in Aerial feels kinda anti-competitive similar to how crates used to drop in Elite and Intermediate.

@Sensei - What changes are made to the weapons in your version?

I wrote it in description. Added dates as well, since scheme was tested non-stop during those few years. All of the changes were needed since Sudden death has been added. Some weapons were just too OP when game is about to end and there's 2 worms battling on pixels on different sides of the map.

I remember you tried few Aerials with us.. SD scheme was used then.

Mortals should be more and teles too. Dont see any problem whit crate drop. Those are allways like mole bomb or other useles sheet.

Having 4 mortars at the end of the game is OP, since they have same trajectory as full power grenades or full power no wind zooks. It's way too easy to hit a worm on a pixel cause mortars explode on impact and release its shrapnels. Lot harder and more skillful would be to throw perfect cluster bomb for example..
So yeah, 2 mortars seem like a good number to use if scheme has sudden death included.

I think the weapons are ok in either version, it's the mines being random, and crates dropping that bothers me a lot. Those 2 elements introduce a lot of unnecessary luck with the possibility to stronly influence the game.

There was an Aerial we played back in September against ob where TdC got HHG, I remember using it on one of blitzed worms:

16:53 - https://www.tus-wa.com/leagues/game-233874/

We were already far ahead, but the HHG pretty much secured it. If that happens when 2 teams are really close in gameplay, it could literally be a deciding factor. Great for the winners, horrible for the losers.

I wish there were an option for crate drops that, if the crate is picked up, both teams get x1 of whatever was inside. I wouldn't use it for this scheme, though think it could be fun for something... :D

Edit - I agree with Sensei about the Mortars, though I've never reached end game that I can remember in Aerial... The one thing about Mortars are they are always full power, so technically have less range. OP in the hands of notchers of course, not really for your average player in my opinion.

So why peoples dont use mortal then iff its so overpower?

Ye accept you komo mines should be 3s.
