I really wish there was some solution for SD, Chicken's idea for Select Worms seems the only reasonable, tho it would change the scheme mechanics.
What was wrong with this game that you're suggesting that?
Im not sure if anything was wrong, its how the scheme works. What pisses me off is the SD period, where 1 player is secured with SD weapons and the other one cant do anything, even if almost whole game was perfectly executed. Thats the problem. I know that randomness is fun in here, but the end of the game is pity.
One of the reasons that girder got reduced to 7 was the problem you mentioned. But the part you see the game was executed perfectly in your favor is wrong:
I had the "crates area" most of the game and even though I got stucked at the right of the map at the beginning of SD, you teleported your worms next to me and literally gave me the 4/5 of the map as a gift.
You killed one of my worms with nana, and at the end you did the same mistake and teleported your worm next to me when your other worm was blocked.
Also when you don't have SD weapon, you don't go to distance from your opponent, you push him as hard as you can.
Crate picks were equal, maybe even i used more of them, not sure. I teleported my worms to you coz i didnt want SD weapons to decide again, and hoped for some luck or mistake of yours, imo thats part of the game which sometimes works. Its easy to say i shouldnt go there after the game you know. If i secured left area with all of my 3 worms and didnt let you to come to me id probably win, but cant know what you have. Also its not like this game is a perfect example. What im saying is that waiting for this latest moment isnt the true spirit of this game.
