Let's do this? Since the 2v2 t17 cup got slow but it seemed to me there was a high interest from many players to play team17 scheme. Would be easier in 1v1. Maybe this time only island maps, no cave?

Maybe after the new year. The activity always drops a bit around the new year.

Well, I would be excited to do this. Even before the new year, if enough people want it.
I would be fine with all islands, but also an even mixture of cave and island would be fun too.

I don't have a problem doing that but I want to point out that TRL Team17 activity declined.
Season 29: Average games per day 7.5, number of participants: 54
Season 30: Average games per day 5.4, number of participants: 28 (almost halved)
Do you think settings up TTL would be any different? (TUS Team17 League)

maybe we could make a poll if people want TTL or not? this is your site obviously so I'm just asking: would you rather like a league where even in reduced numbers then before but people are still playing!, rather then no league and no activity at all? t17 was active, but instead of starting a 2nd season of TRL with it, it should have been a tus t17 league right away in my opinion

Yes I prefer low activity over no activity but to start a new league, I need a minimum player base and beside you and Chicken23, no one else has requested it. TUS has a long list of leagues and to new comers it is already confusing. Thankfully all those leagues will be merged into one in the future.

I would like to have a T17 league, either here or on a separate website.
I was busy during the previous season so I couldn't play as much as I would have liked to.

Consider that maybe summer is coming, lots of people can work less (or not at all) and play more. Intermediate has already a website on its own, so I found a TRL with intermediate a bit redundant.
I think a TTL wouldn't be a bad idea, people are enjoying Team17 island more than in cavern, so maybe this could bring more activity.
I definitely agree for a TTL :) moreover these kind of matches are always exciting in terms of commenting! :P

I support TTL because I never played TEL (so many years with this...) which is a scheme I don't like so much. Team17 is a scheme that I enjoy. I didn't play so much, due to lack of free time, but it'll be good to have sure that I can play Team17 league any time I want.

I would also be in favour of TTL.
3 month seasons and top 8 playoff spots if meeting the game requirements.
Personally i think it should have a different rating system to main tus system as the point system in WL last year worked better.
Is this possible?
KRD, Sen and myself who drove quite a lot of activity all had other things going on, but I'd like to be able to play competitive t17 games in a single ladder when I do have time for WA.

TLL with a different rating system to main TUS rating algorithm.
Deadcode and KRD and Senator know about ELO vs glicko much better but the one we used for WL worked well.

I will make the TUS Team17 League. (TTL)
Since I'm working on a new league, I don't want to touch the current code so the points system won't change. However since it is a new league, all stats are reset.
