I never understood the point of these maps.. are these even done by real people?!?! not by a spam bot or something? :W

It's not a spambot. Real member. They start by testing W:A with random images to see how they look in-game. Next step is to upload them to the database. Overall, it counts as engagement and there's a chance they get hooked up :)
