Title: Audio Issue
Post by: Kradie on August 04, 2018, 05:00 PM
I accidentally broke a 3.5mm pin while dragging it out from its hole, now the pin is stuck in there.

I tried a RCA audio cable, since my speakers supports this, but no sound.

Are my speakers ruined? Any solution?

Use superglue to attach something to the snapped part, let it dry out and pull it out. Use alcohol to degrease the surfaces before gluing and after success to celebrate xddd

Maybe if you're able to open up your speakers, there's a slight gap where you can push it out with a pin?

Or how about a strong vacuum cleaner with a straw attachment?

Or maybe you could try and hammer a steel pin/needle into the broken bit until it's stuck enough to pull it out, but only if the jack is strong enough.

Pretty sure there's no way one of those will fit.
