She creates viruses and connects them with her photos. A few days ago she sent me an email a "photo". I had a good antivirus. So I'm not afraid of viruses. But antivirus did not help me :( windows locks up. I could not do anything!
I clicked "reset" but the system will not boot! I had to reinstall the system :( :( :(
I'm furious >:(

i trust on myself :P
but if you can get me the sample of the malware ill try test it(reverse engineer) on my VM and check what exactly the malware does

How can you get a virus from an image file? oO
Here's a potentially helpful advice: if the file ends with .exe instead of .jpg, it likely does not contain pics of a random internet girl ;)

Virus can hide anywhere in the image, audio file, text file, and sometimes it can also be hidden, sent in together with the IP address. If you have a good anti-virus, you should not be afraid. Even if a good hacker did this Virus, Anti-Virus should hand deal with him, if not, change the anti-virus.
And remember, use only one firewall! If your antivirus has a built-in firewall, disable the firewall system, or vice versa.

Once I had really sneaky virus that infected almost all my .exe files :D And then, my anti-virus started to delete completely all those .exe files without asking me to leave them in quarantine. My anti-virus wasn't able to cure them, but a new anti-virus was able to ???
