Title: Can someone help with video editing software?
Post by: TheKomodo on August 11, 2017, 03:20 AM
I have some footage i'd like to make some YouTube videos with, i'm looking for some video editing software that will edit high quality OBS recordings into high quality YouTube videos, the highest/loudest quality of audio is needed.

I've tried researching for like 30 minutes with no luck, any tutorials or urls I can use to learn would be helpful, thanks.

Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas are the most used I guess. At least 1-2 years ago they were. Both have their advantages, I heard a lot of people who use both because one is better in video editing, one with converting. Both have a great price though if you want to use it legal.

Cyberlink's PowerDirector is also a good choice.

How complicated is the editing that you need to do? XMediaRecode is a good free converter as you can select the minute details of the audio quality you want.

Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve (https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/) is great. It needs a considerably powerful CPU, as the free version doesn't use GPU acceleration (as far as I know).
