I`m sure many of you have seen the movie. I find this subject very fascinating. After all, it could mean the armageddon of Worms. What do you think, is it all just hoax? Please, watch this documentary before you give up your opinion:

I believe that something WILL happen. What strikes me the most, is that the Mayan`s predictions of what will happen on the 21st of December 2012 is backed up by theories from science: On this specific date, The Earth will be in exact linement with the Sun and the Center of the Milkyway Galaxy, which is a Galatic event that only takes place every 25 800 year. The predicts of the Mayans and the theory of the scientists are very similar: the entire mantel of the earth will shift in only a few days, maybe even shorter, which will change the position of the North and South pole. This will be causing world wide distasters such as earthquakes, massive tsunamies and so on. You find these predictions not only from the Mayan`s, but also in old Roman and Greek history, in Chinese tradition and history and so on. The predictions are backed up by todays scientists, and even Albert Einstein has predicted the same, in 1955! The documentary also says that the poles have changed before, where Alaska was at equator about 800 million years ago. If you don`t bother to watch the documentary, then go a head and reply how silly you think I am for believing in this, but I WOULD like you to watch it first.
Okay. So, say the World ends in 2012. What 5 things would you list that you`d wish to do before this date? Here is mine ;D
1. Have sex with a girl?
2. Have sex with avirex (could also go under number 1, but yeah)
3. Beat Random00 :P
4. Become a father (the world can end in 2070 and I still might not be able to experience this lol)
5. Go to Asia, Oceania, America and South America and explore/experience different countries
I`m also very fascinated by UFO`s. Always been since I was a child, and I still am. I`ve got even more interested in the phenomena crop circles over the years. I mean, no human being can make such crazy formations in the fields. Here`s a very interesting video of two of the most interesting crop circles that has appeared in recent time:

Finding videos of UFO`s on youtube is wasting time though. 99% of whats uploaded is fake, and yeah, pretty frustrating. I read about one extraordinary example earlier this summer though, that I was facinated by. It happened in a town in China, where the airport had to close for four hours because of the Unindentified flying object.

I guess I`m very open minded or dumb to believe in all this. But I just do! I can`t help myself. I believe we are not alone in the universe, I believe we are being visited by other civilizations, and I believe the world won`t be the same in January 2013 ;D What do you guys think?

About ufos I believe on them too it's stupid taht we think on a such big universe we being the only planet with a civilization, if anything weird happens on 2012 it will surely be that the unkwown civilizations from another planet will make contact with us a superior intelligence will never want to teach us their big fancy discovers so they are probably not on a peace mode even us being the same human race over the generations have conquer oru selves due to obtein more power and domain even that bloody fake bullshit called church.

On topic, I don't believe in things like "the world will go kaboom at 11th november 2011 at 11:11h".. It's made up by humans who love the drama. However I saw 2012 and really liked the movie. There may be some truth to it, I like to think that humans are parasites to the earth and the more parasites there are and the more we mess the earth up (which we undoubtedly do), the more likely there will be a reaction as in natural catastrophes and stuff like that. :)

Well, the thing that gets me is the alignment of Earth/Sun/Centre of Milky Way, something WILL happen with this once in a blue moon occurance, if we all die who cares lol, we were gonna die at some point anyway.

Oh yeah, darkz, I thought 2012 was amazing (the film), some people I know said it was so unrealistic they didn't like it, but I think it's pretty realistic, I mean the only bit I thought was close to being unrealistic was every part in the film with a plane flying lol, but I still loved it, one of the best films i've seen in the last couple years along with "The day the Earth stood still" that was awesome too !

Nowadays? Irrational beliefs have been constant throughout the ages. 2012 is just another in a long line of "End of the World" predictions :<
What I find interesting is after armageddon doesn't come. You would imagine in such a black and white situation for believers to turn around and say "I was wrong". You might be surprised to find that the most ardent believers actually fall deeper into their illogical beliefs creating bizarre reasons why it all makes sense.

Earth is approximately 4,500,000,000 years old. That means this already happened few times. Approximately 170000 times. YAWN. :)

Actually while reading this I had to think about two friends of mine. One died in a traffic accident and one died while playing volleyball (which he's been doing for years) because his heart simply stopped beating.
What I wanna say is that whatever you wanna do, you may not have the chance to do it even if the whole world is not going kaboom.

People start with all these irrational stuff because they don't listen to metal. When you are confronted with diseases, death, evil and such things in most metal, things like this get boring. So no I don't believe the world will end. 2012 will just be another year with new awesome Metal. :D

That's what is death metal all about, mostly no fantasy stuff. Often lyrics are about the reality or past terrible things like war in human history. Or about social problems like murders, often in the position of the murder not the victims. ;)
Good bands for such lyrics are: Hail of Bullets or Blood Red Throne.

When I think of "Metal" Rock music, I think of things like Slipknot, I don't know if their music is considered Metal, but it's extremely annoying, sometimes hard to understand because sometimes it doesn't make sense, and anyone who sings this kind of music is going to lose their voice by the time they are 40.
What pisses me off even more, is IMO Slipknot are EXTREMELY talented musicians, as in they can actually sing and play their instruments very very good, it just feels to me it is a waste of such a beautiful talent to look like a bunch of adults/twats who can't outgrow halloween.
One of the very few things I literally hate in this world is Slipknot, everytime I see them on music channels I get ridiculously angry have to punch something or do something, and I am not just saying this, the last time I seen Slipknot on TV I almost burst a blood vessel shouting at my GF to change the channel, unfortunately she likes Slipknot, and i've banned Slipknot in my house...
My mate likes Slipknot too, he's a BIG Metal fan too, his favourite band is Slipknot I think, or at least one of his favourites and I always say to him he's got crap on his face... (If anyone gets that lol)

Hah ! wormf00d actually beat me twice in a row the other day, just glad I kicked his ass right left and centre before and afterwards lol, I blame my spare monitor i'm using cuz my good one broke cuz I just can't hit the pwoer right now and he blames the 113hp setting we were doing lol, I don't play THAT much worse than normal, but enough so that I miss those crucial shots where the shot you use has to be 100% perfect pwoer it can't be a pixel over or pixel under or it will miss and lose games more than I used to, hats off to wormf00d though because the games he beat me, he would have won the 1st one anyway at least.
But actually that was such an awesome night for me, Started about 1pm GMT a 3-way 113hp a2b winner stays on, if you win 2 in a row (beat both opponents) you have to rest for a game to let others play, then later we had 4, we played about 28-29 games and it lasted until about 10pm-11pm GMT, man it was awesome, then after that I went on to play Dead Rising 2 and this guy wanted to join my game so we could do co-op, ended up playing and chatting with him till like 9am - 10am GMT, I am so addicted to DR2 right now it's ridiculously fun.
So yeah it's been a good few days, and all-round, I don't believe the world will end but i've enjoyed my life enough so far, and done so many things I feel privileged to have done, and met people who i've had some of the best times of my life with and experienced so much I think I can safely say I don't care IF the world ends in 2012, i've had a good life so far and I wouldn't care too much to die, just hope it happens fast lol.
Which coming to think of it, most people who are scared of dying, aren't really scared of death itself, they are scared of HOW they will die, cuz most people fear pain. I and I think the rest that are scared, are just scared cuz they don't know what will happen WHEN they die...

If you wanna hear metal that has meaningful lyrics despite the vocals, then listen to Between the Buried and Me's album Colors. Or even just read the lyrics. It's awesome stuff.
People think that screaming vocals are pointless, but if you've got heavy technical guitar lines then clean singing ain't gonna cut it most of the time, hence screaming suits it better. Off-topic but I live for music, which is metal 8)
On-topic: I believe nothing will happen. Too tired to explain why and it's all already been said by others ;D
